Dark Souls 2 is better than Dark Souls 3.
Witcher 3 was okay at best.

I can't stop playing Binding of Isaac Rebirth every day. I have over 400 Steam games and 15k ROMs.

I savescum in Mount&Blade and have fun doing so every time

I've used guides way more than I should've.
I often go for Platinum trophies because I find it fun.
I've still never beaten Demi-fiend in Digital Devil Saga.
I wouldn't mind if Hunting Styles stuck around in Monster Hunter 5.
I often savescum games if I'm emulating them, so I try not to emulate games whenever possible because I have no self control when it comes to being able to just save any, and everywhere.

I have never played a metal gear game.

Playing on the lowest difficulty would be much more shameful

I had to lower the difficulty in fucking Black Ops because I couldn't get through one segment

Trophies add replay value and even incentive to play a game for me.
I've never played FF7, the only story element I know is that Aerith dies.
I've never beaten ANY FF game. I tried playing through 6, 9, and 10 but none of them held my attention for whatever reason.
I am a nintendofag all the way, even if I don't get their console/handheld at launch I will eventually get it.
I haven't been able to sit through a single player game since Dark Souls 3 launched. My days are filled with mindless Overwatch and Smash

I often quit playing games rather close to the end.

Sometimes the final bosses are too difficult for me to care when I know there's no more game afterwards anyway.

I fashion myself as some kind of big fan of fighting games and as someone who has decent knowledge of the genre, but I don't even own a single fighting game with an active scene aside from Smash 4. I don't own a PS4 or an Xbone either. I'm a poorfag. Mostly I'm paying attention to tournaments and educating myself on the genre until I can afford a PS4 and SFV. I've also never been to a tournament before.

I don't blame Publishers and Developers for all the jewing in gaming as much as I blame the gamers themselves. They paid for that. They willingly gave those publishers their money and told them it's ok to fuck us and charge us for content that should've been in the game. Ultimately the gamers did this.

I thought Fallout 4 was an okay game

Well I really like educating myself on the genre, paying attention to each game, learning it in theory, etc.

I just really wish I had a PS4, SFV, and a fightstick already so I can actually practice to git gud. I know I'm probably going to hate losing at some point, but I want to genuinely dedicate myself to gitting gud at fighting games.

I also haven't played a shit ton of classic fighting games, like SF2 , Third Strike, or most KoF games.

I dropped a Link to the Past about 2 or 3 Dark World temples in because I thought the game was hella boring.

I haven't beaten Valkyria Chronicles because I can't get past the kidnapping mission. All my soldiers get one shot by the armored car, and even a shock trooper emptying into the generator only does like 10% damage, then they get KO'd at the beginning of the cars next turn. I'm frusturated.

I confess that I don't like the game because it's fucking stupid, on a site that praises it.

I never finished any Zelda games and i have no intention to do it because i think they are boring.

Apk/store version sucks, but people use it to buy fun coins since google gift cards are easier to get than moba cards.
To actually play it, just open the main page on Chrome/Safari (no Firefox), set it to english and, after the tutorial, go to Settings and set graphics to Beta mode. It runs perfectly well in my chink android phone.
/vg/'s general thread have tons of guides on its OP.

In the past 6 years, I have only played 2 games without using a walkthrough/wiki/guide at all: Ghost Trick and Miles Edgeworth Investigations 2. Everything else that I've played, from Final Fantasy to Bethesda to Zelda, I've looked at a walkthrough for at least one dungeon/puzzle/quest, usually because I'm too stupid to get what I'm supposed to do next.
Also, I use savestates all the time because I play almost everything on an emulator, except Bethesda stuff.
And finally, I could only get past the Yellow Demon in Mega Man by using my emulator to set my health to a constant number.

i have not had fun playing a game in over a year.

You can always pick a game you played a year ago or so and have fun again.

Usually in rpgs I grind a shit ton because I want to unlock stuff and end up not finishing the game because it gets boring one shotting or wasting time doing convoluted combos.

Typically RPG, Point and click Adventure games, and Co-op games

Screen size and resolution are completely irrelevant factors to me when playing a game and I cannot for the life of me understand why some people obsess over it. Framerate I get but resolution? What's the point? I'd also gladly play weebshit over most any modern AAA multiplat any day of the week.

I agree, the level design of DS2 made its earlier levels more accessible to new players like me but ramped up the difficulty at a pace that was challenging yet fun. DS2 is the only reason I ever got into difficult games at all. Also, its magic and poise were the best in the series, the only two things that held it back was its piss poor matchmaking and online system
