is this game actually good or is it just a meme? my local gamestop is clearing out the 360 section and the games are all dirt cheap, should i pick it up for 10 bucks or so?

His 360 is free from the shackles of gravity.

i loved playing it, it's pretty shoddy and the combat is straight horrible but it's just such a weird experience that i couldn't stop playing it until i had seen it through.
if you hate story driven games then probably stay away.

i don't mind poor mechanics if they are not gamebreaking and the story is actually worth it. are there multiple endings? is it spooky?

you can do some sidequests to ease the burden of the combat pretty quickly.

spooky? eh, sometimes it's a bit creepy but i think the overall atmosphere overpowers it but it does have some gruesome stuff in it.

Some of them are, I just can't remember which. There are a number of region free shmups. Just be sure to double check before you buy.

All those Halo games and you don't have the best one. Keep an eye out for ODST.

I've been buying these game second hand off of offer up/let it go etc. I'm keeping an eye out for it and the anniversary of 1 also. I have yet to pay more then $6 of a game.
