SMASH SWITCH THREAD

Instead of just the usual roster/mode/fixes wishlist stuff for Super Switch Smash Bros, let's do something I haven't seen in a long while: a Smash moveset thread!

You know how it goes. Propose a character and their B moves. If you want to hard mode, then put up all their tilts/Smash Attacks/aerials as well.

In light of the recent closeness between Nintendo and Atlus, and the Atlus Tax
Jack Frost
B: Frost Breath. Blows out a cone of frost, not unlike Bowser or Charizard's breath, that deals minor damage, and slows the foe. If it hits the enemy enough, they freeze, similar to if they were hit by a Mr. Freezey. The Breath itself deals no knockback, but does reduce momentum.

I'll finish later, added this for bump.

That sounds like Ice Climber's down B.

Down B: Bufudyne. Creates a large Ice crystal, dealing moderate damage and vertical knockback. The crystal remains for a few moments, and eats projectiles. If used in midair, it instead fires a small projectile downwards that detonates into the crystal upon striking a character, projectile, or the ground. Characters that take damage have a low chance (15%or so) to be frozen, and receive a minor spike effect.

Side B: Cold World: Produces a plane of frozen terrain in front of Jack Frost, about 4-5 Bowserlengths, making that area slippery. A character hit by this takes very minor damage. Jack moves with increased speed and control over this (and other) icy surfaces. If used in midair, it creates the sheet, that then falls to the ground, dealing minor damage to things it falls into. Jack himself can land on the sheet as it is falling, which counts as touching ground again for most purposes. The sheet lasts around 6 seconds, and making a new sheet destroys the last one. Making an air sheet can only be done once per jump cycle, including landing on a falling air sheet.

Up B: Snowstorm. Jack breaks apart into a small blizzard, and can move freely for a few seconds. Jack can move through characters and bits of terrain freely, and deals minor damage, but no knockback to characters he passes through. Jacks speed, and thus distance while in this state increases if he passes through an Ice Sheet, Bufudyne crystal, or frozen character. Initiates helpless falling afterwards.

Final Smash: Jack Bros. Pyro Jack, and Jack the Ripper show up for some standup comedy, complete with terrible puns. The jokes are so awful, that everyone is put into a stun (like if a shield is broken) for around 10 seconds.

F-Smash: Winds up a big ol' punch. Creates a visual effect reminiscent of Dream Fist, but this is entirely cosmetic.

U-Smash: Creates a spike of ice that jabs upwards, with small hitboxes to the front and back. Has a sweetspot at the tip of the upward thrust.

D-Smash: Mabufula. creates a bunch of Ice crystals around Jack's feet. A character hit by one is frozen and recieves moderate damage, and minor vertical knockback. These crystals remain in place for a few seconds.

I might do tilts and arials, but in the mean time, costumes.
Jack Frost: Base.
Recolors to match the Frost 5 (Strawberry, Lemon, Milky, b. Hawaii, and Melon Frost)
Black Frost
King Frost (Well, at least the wig)
Frost Ace
And Demonee-Ho.

Oh, and can't forget the Rai-Ho, and Lucifer Frost costumes.

B: Chaos Spear. Can be charged and stored. Firing in the air shoots it as a 45 degree angle.
Side B: Chaos Lance. Slower Spear, but multihitting and moves him forward.
Down B: Chaos Discharge. Small chaos energy bubble that protects him from projectiles and damages the opponents. The longer you hold it, the longer it lasts.
Up B: Chaos Warp. The usual teleport recovery, but Shadow does a sick move when reappearing.

B: Magic Spell (Fire/Ice Storm/Tunder)
Side B: Brain Dumbed
Down B: Diacute
Up B: Heaven Ray
Final Smah; Bayoeen

Goku
B: kamehameha
Side B: kamehameha
Down B: kamehameha
Up B: Run at u and grab ur and ask to fight with u

>R.O.B uses Standard B
>win instantly

Final Smash: Kaioken kamehameha

...

Add Neptune or Tsubasa

>not adding Blanc
You had one fucking job, nepshitter

I legit see some #FE fuckboy making it.
As long as that means Jack Frost AT then I'll deal with it.

Are you gonna buy Meicoomon's game next year?

FUCKING GIVE HIM TO ME

WE NEED MORE DEE KAY CHARACTERS

Here's my idea for a new retro character, the Ice Climbers from Ice Climber.
I think something unique about them would be that it would be like two characters in one, you would control one, and the other Ice Climber would closely follow and repeat your actions. If one Ice Climber dies, you can keep playing as the other one.

B: Each Ice Climber fire a block of ice that travels along the ground. If only one of them is alive, it would fire one block.
Side B: Both Ice Climbers spin around together while moving along the ground, consisting of multiple hits. It's a lot weaker if only used by one Ice Climber.
Up B: One Ice Climber throws the other one high up in the sky with a rope, and quickly follows. This move is terrible if one of the Ice Climbers is dead.
Down B: Each Ice Climber blows icy winds from their hands, causing damage and potentially freezing opponents.

Ragna from Blazblue.

I think that video should cover everything.

Meowth

How easy is it to make your own custom movesets for Brawl?

1. Bring back Pokemon Trainer
2. Replace a large number of recolors with costumes/Add a lot of costumes
3. Bring back a story mode

There's a good Daisy moveset picture out there but I'm too lazy to find it. Basically, take inspiration from the sports games.

cant believe they even got rid of the subspace emissary-esque story in the first place in the newest one. that was one of the best parts.

Lucina ain´t that bad.

Dio Brando
B: Space Ripper Stingy Eyes
Side B: Vaporization
Down B: Spores
Up B: Teleport
Final Smash: Za Warudo

nobody fucking cares tripfag

...

Man, Kill La Kill just goes well with anything, doesn't it?

Naked Nui goes well with whipped cream.

Toon Zelda/Tetra
Bneutral= Light Bow/Water Pistol
Bside= Phantom Slash/Bomb Roll
Bup= Spirit Rush/Catapult
Bdown= Transform
Smash- Phantom Armor

B - Sol: A slow, hard hitting sword slash that heals for half the damage done, think Falcon Punch
Side B - Luna: Short dash that ends in a strong but telegraphed attack that does heavy shield damage or cancelled into a jump if used on the ground
Down B -Counter: Because lol fire emblem
Up B- Galeforce: Jump off a swirl of air to gain more height. Moderate travel distance, think Falcon or Zss. No hurt box but dunks if used on top of an enemy.

Final Smash - Dual Strike: procs Astra and strikes 5 times in quick succession, launching opponent up into Camilla, who appears on her Wyvern to dunk opponent into a waiting Lethality proc, which launches with the Fates lethality effect.

Can wall jump

Tilts: Edgy reverse grip shit like Roy

Everything else TBD

Alternate costumes are Awakening and Fates outfits + recolors. Default is fates appearance w/ Nohrian Blade. Secondary is awakening outfit w/ steel sword.

Damn, forgot pic

>ANOTHER Awakening/Fates character

Fucking Tsubasa, Lyn, Eirika, Celica, Micaiah, Seliph or hell even Anna when?

It played like absolute garbage. Honestly, I'd rather have a Classic Mode like the old one but with the usual Arcade mode cutscene stuff of Intro/Rival Fight/Final Boss/Endings but with the CGI of the newcomers.

I'd LOVE a Shadow moveset like this.

>tfw fast frame data on tilts or aerials and near lagless landings to compensate for being SLIGHTLY slower than Sonic in run speed.

>another Fire Emblem character
>from both Awakening AND Fates
>incredibly shit character
End your life.

It really does.

Young Link
Bneutral= Bow/Bubbles/Ground Pound/Double Cutter depending on which form he's in; his other forms transform him.
Bside= Goron Roll
Bup= Deku Flower Flight
Bdown= Zora Barrier
Smash- Fierce Deity
one of his taunts gets turns him back into Young Link, another has him play a tune with his form's instrument.

...

...

Eirika deserves it

Last one.
I would destroy Pit!Mako's boipussi real hard.

Her redesign should be something like this.

>Tsubasa
Kek

>Lyn
Likely if they ever made a FE6/7 remake

>Eirika
Possible, but less likely than Lyn

>Celica
Very unlikely, too obscure.

>Micaiah
Ike is already in the game and Robin is your "mage" character

>Seliph
See Celica, but Sakurai did want to have Sigurd in Melee originally so it's not completely off the table.

>Anna
Assist trophy at best

That being said, all of those options would be better than ANOTHER Awakening/Fates character

Ive seen a lot of redesigns for her, I'd just be happy if she got in

The Dragonborn

B: Unrelenting Force - The Dragonborn shouts, causing those in front of him/her to be knocked back with no damage. Can be charged up to three seconds, with each second adding a word to the shout and more knockback to the move. Using this move in the air will push the Dragonborn backward.

Side B: Whirlwind Sprint - The Dragonborn shouts, causing him/her to rocket forward a set distance, bowling over anyone in his/her path. Can be charged up to three seconds, with each second adding a word to the shout and increasing the distance traveled. Using it on the ground will never send the Dragonborn flying off the edge of the platform (even if charged), but using it in the air could cause him/her to overshoot.

Up B: Summon Arvak - Summons an undead horse that leaps into the air, then gallops forward. Low vertical recovery, but decent horizontal recovery. Any opponents in the path of the horse get trampled. The horse vanishes when it hits the ground.

Down B: Elemental Fury - The Dragonborn shouts, and his/her damage and attack speed increase by a set amount. Charging this shout adds another word, and more time to the effect.

Final Smash: Marked for Death - The Dragonborn shouts, and all enemies in the path of the shout are stunned and much more easily launched.

B- Stance, enter a stance and then press forward for a shield break slash, up for a fast lunge, or down to shoot a trail of fire on the ground
SideB- Miracle, lightning spear that you can throw at the ground for lightning stake
DownB- Sorcery, casts Homing soulmass, can charge for homing crystal soulmass
UpB- Pyromancy, use combustion to rocket jump
Smash- Gwyn's super combo

Even if i love Lyn to death, Tsubasa would be best possible outcome.

>Bond with Atlus
>Ad for TMS#FE
>Lance/Weebshit based moveset
>Stage based on the idolashere with weekshit soundtrack
>Special post battle quote with Marth and Lucina.
>TONS of costumes
>Maybe will make Atlus consider bringing more games to the Switch.
>Corrin had literally no reason to be in Smash if his/her game was already out unlike Roy.
>More girls
I would prefer if we got Bride!Eirika because of the lance.

Oh that'd be really cool too, or if Eirika and Ephraim both got in, working kinda like the ice climbers.

B- Sand Attack: short range projectile that causes flinching
Side B- Blaze Kick: can be used as a horizontal recovery
Up B- Brave Bird: flies up in the air, if it hits an enemy, it does damage to both characters
Down B- Mirror Move: counter that has Blaizken repeat the move that hit it
Final Smash- Flare Blitz: gains a large, fiery aura that causes constant damage

Kinda weird, but it would be cool.

Getting it out of the way, alternate costumes would have her pirate getup, and original outfit.

Now being on the Switch and no longer being held back by 3DS pushing cuckery, short period transformations are in.

B: Initiate dance sequence. (Use up, down, left, right, and maybe A.)

What do you think could be down with this and directional inputs?

>Corrin had literally no reason to be in Smash
>The main character of the most recent entry in the main series is less deserving of a slot than a side character from an idolshit themed spinoff game

fuck now I want him

Yeah it would be different for sure, and more far fetched, but Eirika is faster and Ephraim has a longer reach, would certainly be something neat

Awakening HAD 2 (two) reps.
Fates was out at the moment it realeased, so literally no one asked for him.

TMS#FE NEEDED that advertizement. And it would have helped Nintendo on the long run if they added her instead.

Do you know who drew thst? They look awesome.

Never.

I would LOVE for her to be in Smash, but Sakurai is a terrible game designer and an overrall idiot and should really be replaced for Smash 5.

_____ Mario
>Neutral Special: Fireball
>Side Special: Spin Attack, from Super Mario Galaxy
>Up Special: Wing/Cape/Raccoon Mario
>Down Special: F.L.U.D.D.

Damn, I've always wanted Mario in Smash Bros

>two characters acting like one
Stupid.

bowser clone

Hopefully he is. He's already said these games take a huge toll on him, and the next one is likely to be bigger, if they don't want to disappoint.

Now a Switch port, yeah. He'd probably continue to cuck her out.

Goddamnit Sakurai. =(

B= Bomb
Down B= Bomb Kick
Up B= Bomb Launch
Side B= Bomb Throw
Final Smash = Bomb

I do actually, I got those from his tumblr and put them side by side:
at-dell.tumblr.com/

And direct link:
at-dell.tumblr.com/post/151554918062/day-8-winning-grace-cowslip-day-9-trust

I may or may not have a bad habit of collecting images of Eirika and Ephraim, and that is one of the gems I came across

B - Shuriken: Fast, weak projectile that can charge into a bow
Side B - Flying Swallow: Does a horizontal dash attack.
Up B - Izuna Drop: Launches upwards, then performs a pile driver if it hits the enemy.
Down B- Art of Wind Blades: Horizontal area attack, can be charged for a wider radius.

Taunt - Freestyles vigoorian flail, can hit enemies

NES blue as alt costume.

This.

I would really want her to have either the lance moveset or Lyn or Lucina´s PM Moveset.

Nice, thanks man.

B- Tomahawk throw
Side B- Skateboard
Down B- Eggplant Beast
Up B- Buggette Lift
Final Smash= All Dino Companions storm the stage.

Anytime!

Gonna continue posting Eirika.

B-Bonk
Side B- Bonk
Up B- Arial Bonk
Down B- Bonk
Final Smash- Bonk
Bonk

B= Brainshock: big, slow projectile that causes paralysis; has startup lag
Bside= Offense Down: close range attack that weakens an opponents attacks for a short period of time
Bup= Fly Honey: Kumatora pulls out a jar, and flies swarm around her, causing her to float up for a short amount of time; she can throw the jar and the bees will follow and cause damage to enemies near them.
Bdown= PK Ground: Kumatora punches the ground and the earth rumbles on both sides of her; if done in the air, it charges in damage and range for as long as she's airborne
Smash= PK Starstorm

Oh I gotta, or Ephraim, or anyone from SS really, its my favorite FE

Neutral B: Switches out her current weapons for the others

>Duel Guns
Down B: Ghost Factory (acts as a more flashy counter)
Side B: Sliding Slinger (does a sliding attack as she fires)
Up B: Violent Streak (jumps up and shoots all around her)

>Duel Swords
Down B: Killing Machine (boosts damage and knockback potential for a brief time)
Side B: Electric Surge (chargeable projectile, though must be released after full charge)
Up B: Shadow Strike (deals greater damage and knockback from behind)

Final Smash: Enters a Skell and blasts the stage with missiles, lasers and gunfire

It´s the first one i played.

My fave is FE7, tho.

Too bad it sold like crap.

Agnes Oblige when?
Cloud has literally nothing to do with Nintendo.

Ive only Played SS, Awakening, Conquest, and half of Birthright, as sad as that is. I've been meaning to play 6 and 7 but haven't gotten around to it

...

FE7 is one of the best.

FE6 is not as bad as they say.

smash 4 was the the last smash

I dont why you guys ae hoping for another after Sakurai said he was done.

You'll probably enjoy Path of Radiance a lot. It has many of the good features of the older titles with much better production values.

Yeah I hear a ton of good things about 7, I should make it a priority

There is like a 95% chance Nintendo is going to have it ported with new content, if they like money that it

PoR or RD would be pretty cool, I love the FE characters more then the gameplay so learning more about Ike would be nice

Dude, Nintendo can replace Sakurai whenever they want to.

What happened to Metal Gear after Kojima left?

Konami is making another one without his "genius".

Eliwood, Hector and Lyn easly beat PoR Ike, tho.

Its on the Eshop now, you can inject it as a 3DS CIA or use an emulator.

>tfw just spent a decent amount of time coming up with a moveset for pic related
>internet went out and I wasn't able to post it
>had to restart laptop
>wasn't able to save it anywhere

SOL BADGUY

>Traits
Air Dash: double tap forward or back in the air for an air dash. Consumes one jump.

Roman Cancel: Pressing Shield during an attack animation will cancel the animation and put Sol in a neutral state. Works on a cooldown.

Burst: Pressing Shield while in hitstun will cause a Burst. No damage, fixed knockback. If it hits the opponent, you gain back one jump. If not, you will enter fall state. Works on the same cooldown as RC.

>Specials
Neutral B - Gunflame: Standard projectile. RC OK. Air NOT OK. Hold B to do a fake Gunflame.

Side B - Bandit Revolver: Multihit. Weak angled meteor smash hitbox at the end. RC OK. Air OK.

Side B hold - Bandit Bringer: Single hit. Strong meteor smash. Kill move. Air NOT OK. RC OK.

Up B - Volcanic Viper: Rising uppercut. Mostly vertical movement. Follow hit only if opponent is hit first. Air OK. RC OK only if opponent is hit.

Down B - Fafnir: Short distance punch. Super slow, but super armor on the first few frames. Can kill. Air NOT OK.

Down B hold - Grand Viper: Low to the ground, forward moving multihitting attack. Ends with a small Volcanic Viper. RC OK only if opponent is hit with the end attack. Air NOT OK.

Down B air - Kudakero (or his Xrd dive kick): Dive kick attack. Stalls before attacking. Meteor Smash. RC OK.

I'll do the rest in a bit.

I have SS on my 3DS and as a ROM, I'm all set up to play GBA games I just need to get around to it

Never gonna happen, but Juan from Guacamelee.

Jab: His Jab 1, Jab 2, and Elbow Jab ripped from the game.

>Throws

Ripped from the game, arrow and all. End lag added to his Down Throw to make it not broken, of course.

>Specials
Neutral B: Olmec's Headbutt
Up B: Rooster Uppercut
Side B: Dashing Derpderp
Down B in Air: Frog Slam
Down B on ground: a short burst of Goat Fly

>Misc.
Up Tilt: That uppercut type move he does
Down Air: His down aerial in Guacamelee, can spike, able to jablock
Forward Air: The 3 move aerial he has in the game, like Bayo

Also I'd figure his chicken form could somehow work.

That animation he does when he completes a sidequest/gets one of those orbs would be a taunt.

It´s not that hard, just make sure you ship your units or the Final Boss is going to 1hit everyone, even if promoted.

Also how you would fuckers feel about him being able to switch between Styles if he were playable?

I was thinking maybe he could switch via taunts and he could have four taunts in all, one more than everybody else.

The only problem was that it was difficult as hell to come up with up-B or down-B moves for most of them. But if Dante were ever playable, I feel like Sakurai would need to implement Style switching in some way.

Sakurai would make a Link/Bayonetta clone at best.

If there is one thing im bad at, its managing characters. in Conquest I fucked up so bad I needed to get someones Ryoma online in order to beat it. I definitely need to step up my game

The gameplay in RR is very different than the rest of the series, mainly due to how they designed the missions to be much more dynamic.
PoR still plays very much like the past FEs did. It gives you more flexibility as to how you decide to play your run.

You think Nintendo is gonna let this cash cow die just because Sakurai doesn't want to do anymore?

>Link
How the fuck would that work? Just making almost each of his Specials a different weapon? I did consider that.

He should be like Bayonetta, in that he could be a combo-oriented character and some of his moves might be different in the air. That was apart of my moveset too.

Guess I'll contribute to the thread with ideas for Lyn.

>B
Rienfleche: Uses her bow to fire arrows. Can be aimed as well as used rapidly or charged for more power and knock back.

>Side B
Astra: Lyn uses Iaijutsu to dash through her opponent and if it connects she can get a second dash to combo or re-position herself (similar to Bayo's afterburner kick). Has low damage, but this can be done up to 5 times.

>Down B
Vantage: A FE character style counter but more complex (pic related)

>Up B
Acrobat: Performs a jumping flip similar to Zero suit Samus. Can be used again if Astra connects. If B is used mid jump she will fire a volley of arrows towards the center of the jump arc.

Is it original? No. Would it be fun? Hell yes.

Awakening having 2 reps was a curve ball, but Lucina could have honestly just been a Marth costume. At least it was easy to understand why they felt it was justified since it did "save" the series. They needed to focus on keeping the main series relevant, so Corrin was a good (albiet unexpected for this game) choice.

The moment they revealed the trailer for what used to be SMTxFE they condemned that game to a niche audience: a crossover between two semi-obscure RPG series with Japanese idol culture (i.e weeb shit) as a big focus. People who like that stuff will buy it, everyone else would probably be uninterested or alienated by it. If you really wanna push the Atlus x Nintendo thing they might as well add Yu from P4 because of Persona Q.

You can solo the game by using Hector.
And farm supports by keeping them one space from each other when there is nothing else to do but end the fight.

And Lyn is beautiful and will dodge everything.
Take care of her, and she´ll take care of you.
Yeah, every weapon would be an special.
Sakurai is cheap like that.

Bneutral= Axe
Bside= Dagger
Bup= Red Crystal Whirlwind
Bdown= Holy Water
Smash= Bugger me if I know
Vampire Killer used for neutral attacks, grabs, and tether recovery. Neutral attacks have sweet spots and good range, but don't have much knockback. Specials have good knockback, but strange trajectories, except for the Dagger, which flies straight forward and prones.

>Yeah, every weapon would be an special.
>Sakurai is cheap like that.
It would be easier but yes, it'd be a pretty cheap cop-out. Especially since there's always so much to Dante's moveset(s) in each of the games, that just making every special a different weapon wouldn't quite encapsulate what it's like to play as Dante.

Like, if they do that, then how will they work in his Gunslinger moves?

I really feel like Dante should play like he does in his own series. He should be absolutely CUHRAYZEE. I won't accept anything else if he actually becomes playable in Smash 5.

Too bad Sakurai doesn't want to put realistic fire arms in Smash, and Dante wouldn't feel right without Ebony & Ivory.
