I have no idea who's the guy at the right but even without something as impossibly broken as time stop, a close-range physical Stand is something it can't be countered; it will punch you to death and you can't do shit about it (you can't even see it).

I mean Dio's time stop is what, 5 seconds long? Corvo gets 8 seconds, or up to 30 if he burns through his mana potions.

It all depends on who stops time first.

So does Dio. He also has a invisible hulking monstrosity that can lift and throw Steam rollers and well as regenerative powers and immunity to anything that isn't other stand users and Hamon users.
What does Corvo have on any of that? rats? a short ranged teleport?

I know Sup Forums is full of jojo "fans" who have only watched the part 3 anime but seriously The World is boring - there's way more fascinating stands to put in theoretical battles.

Of course Dio is even more deadly. It comes down to usage of timestop, who would be able to sustain it and who uses it first, and if Corvo could "invade" upon Dio's za warudo.

Corvo can sustain it longer, but Dio's is activated quicker.

you do know that he had his head cut off in part 1 right and that was 100 years before his death, he could use the eye fluid thing to kill him while corvo tought he was dead

Also nothing Corvo can do to Dio will actually ever kill him.

Dio would probably win. Corvo has all kind of crazy powers but Dio's insane durability makes him really fucking hard to kill, especially considering that Corvo's weapons are mainly a sword and a gun/crossbow. I mean, the guy can just shrug off being cut in half VERTICALLY.

If Dio's brain is completely destroyed, he will die. That's true of every vampire in the series, even though they all die by sunlight

Dio mention that if Polnariff had finished mixing a brain martini in his skill that he could have killed him

In a straight up fight it's probably Dio, he only got beaten because Jotaro, like all Joestars, has the power of bullshit on his side and even then Dio's dickery doesn't end there.

If Corvo's pulling an assassination and can set something up and send a supersonic projectile into Dio's brain and then decapitate him then I could see him coming out on top. He'd have to be super careful though since Dio can use The World's senses.

About twice that by the final battle in Stardust Crusaders. IIRC Jotaro can get up to about 5 seconds when he's pissed but his is usually 2 or so and it's physically exhausting for him, which isn't really a problem for Dio.
