What does Sup Forums think about For Honor? I think it looks promising
Well I'll play it, but the fact that it's just a vs game means the fun will wear off sooner rather than later.
It has a single player campaign
How's the combat? If 2 guys gang up on me, how do I fight them both off? Or do I just get destroyed?
Much like I'm sure Battlefield 3, 4 and 1 also have single player "campaigns".
I don't get your point
Probably something like this.
You can only 'lock on' to one person at atime, but if youre locked onto someone and someone else attacks you, you can hit the control stick in their direction to parry them and move them backwards a second. You also start to build some Revenge meter and can activate it to become invulnerable for a second and deal massively increased damage for a short time, so fighting multiple people at once is difficult but possible.
holy fuck that flail looks awesome. As someone whos held a fledgling interest in for honor since it as announced. looks FUN
Evey game I've been hyped for has succeeded, and I'm hyped for this one.
Fuck, it gets me every time.
>ubisoft
>multiplayer focused
>bash analogue stick to win
probably not gonna last. might be fun but with ubisoft it will be jam full of DLC splitting to community up
>Evey game I've been hyped for has succeeded
Feels good doesn't it?
I see you picked up all your criticisms straight from vhivemind.net
Damn good, senpai.
actually no, well the hivemind is real
I unironically hate ubisoft all on my own, from my own experience of their games and I can see major flaws with this game from my own educated opinions
Well despite all your supposed experience and educated opinions you can't articulate yourself better than the average Sup Forumsirgin. A shame, since none of that is helpful to anybody else.
Mutliplayer focus isnt inherently a bad thing, r6 seige is still kicking and widely regarded as rather fun
The combat is far from "bash analog stick to win", something im sure the people in the beta can vouch for
So all thats left is you hating on the developer, which by all means is fair because ubisoft has a shitty history, but dont get it too in the way of decent game
>retard thinks he can get an easy kill by initiating a double team
Does this mean that you are actually stronger against characters that you aren't locked onto?
What the fuck?
Where are you getting that idea from
The webm shows a guy running at someone with a readied up shield just waiting to absorb a hit, it has little to do with if he was locked on or not the effect would be the same
>Where are you getting that idea from
The third post I linked.
>run wildly at an enemy while swinging weapon
>he parries and punishes
Seems simple enough of a concept
>play videogame
>press button
>thing happens
Seems even simpler user.
Then dont quote everyone because if you are responding to a single post, you can parry anyone its not something exclusive to locked off opponents.
Thr revenge meter builds up if you are fending off multiple people, its just a balancing mechanism to give you a chance and not get your shit kicked in
>Then dont quote everyone
>because if you are responding to a single post
>you can parry anyone
What did he mean by this?
I'm not "responding" to a single post. I was asking a question to 3 different posts, since it's implied that they have played the game and that it's harder to fight one on one than against a group.
I played the alpha and it was a lot of fun. Even though Ubisoft is shit and i hate throwing money at them, i will do so when it is released.
The maps look small and might be repetitive
Welcome to vs games.
i got into the alpha but i had some bug where the game wouldn't allow me to pick what faction i wanted to fight for so i didn't even get to play it.
Will this shit work for toasterfags?
