Warcraft 3:Help with this level?

Final Elf mission and it's too fucking ridiculous.

I've heard people send Tyrande in with Mines and invincibility potions and 9/11 their base but I just can't seem to do it,among other obvious strategies;none of them are working for shit.

Am I able to use codes or something like in Fallout NV to cheese it?

I just want to move on with the story&game already,20 runs & I'm sick of this shit level.

nigger, I FUCK Tyrande. Now what?

"Am I able to use codes"
The game has cheats. Plenty of them. Just watch the final cutscene on youtube if you don't wanna beat it normally.

As for the mission, get the second mine asap and build some of those mobile tower ancients. Did I say some? I meant a FUCKLOAD. Because they don't count to your supply limit.

Build tons of moonwells at Jaina and Thrall's bases. Hire the troll mercs, especially the healing ones.

Don't suck.

make 4-6 glaive throwers. when the scourge destroy jaina's base in the cutscene, quickly destroy their necropolis and the acolyte that comes to resummon it. wait for 30 minutes

Always thought last undead mission was the hardest, although its been a long time since I played through WC3
Too Long

Who /whosyourdaddy/ here?

Build a regular 12 man land army, get all the expansions for 3x gold income with the high upkeep you'll be rolling, constantly keep upgrading to the max. Get goblin landmines from the shop, use lvl6 spells all the time, hotkey your unit production, build the ancients defense structures at your elf base during the entire mission. Hold out for 15 min. at humans, 15 at orcs, should only have 15 left on your own. I did this on hard a week ago, stop sucking shit. Also gets whisps to auto-repair your shit during the attacks.

yeah it is, until you realize you can spam black citadels

if you beat the final undead mission this one should be a piece of fucking cake

why did the last TFT mission have to be such shit compared to that one

I always had a much harder time with Under the Burning Sky.

just play on easy

I think most people did, that last infinite wave always comes down to luck for me on hard.

You can beat this mission without losing a single building (until they throw the invincible archimonde at them) just by having Tyrande running back and forth purchasing mercenaries and keeping Furion on the frontline spamming Tranquility.

>Dark Trolls never show up in WoW because they all died saving the fucking world
RIP in peace

just give us warcraft 4 already god fucking damn

lore wise you have him on hearthstone, gameplay wise you have it on hots

All you need to do is abuse 2 mechanics:
1) Fast expand to the left ASAP. Defend it with a few Ancient Protectors against a few gargoyles and you're fine.
2)Abuse the shit out of the neutral merchants, ESPECIALLY the goblin mines.
Do these two things and it's pretty much a cakewalk.

Wtf bro. Just micro your units better and don't be complete shit. Wc3 is a joke if you know how to play it.

If RoC just mass archers. Literally nothing comes close. Hippogryph riders are OP as shit as well. If TFT then just spam bears and don't be shit with your rejuvs. Maybe make some talons and fairy dragons to tornado shit and counter their casters.

same, it was the last mission so I never bothered finishing it either

All I did was never stop producing units, built a bunch of ancient defenders and moon wells, and use goblin land mines a lot. They only go to Thrall's base with 15 minutes left or so

just use cheats bruh

Why was the azertoh from Warcraft III so fucking huge compared to the tiny world that we have on WoW?

>Activision Blizzard in charge of wc4

no thanks

WoW is an mmo, it has limitations.

where are the 500 cannon towers i built outside of hearthglen? WoW was such bullshit

used to use it all the time when I was younger. I used to wonder why destroying archimonde's base wouldn't immediately win the mission until I realized he can't die normally
shame, troll priests were the shit

>mass towers and ranged
>hero aoe
>abuse mercs as a quick boost of army to lead into next pause in waves

It's really easy compared to some of the other missions in the game, what are you struggling with?

split into 5 parts, the first... Warcraft 4: Fury of Garithos

DRUIDS OF THE
C L A W
L
A
W

Warcraft 4: The lich king strikes back

you mean
>Warcraft 4: Fury of Thrall
followed by
>Corruption of Thrall
>Return of Thrall

Make 12 Ancients of War and spam archers. Even on the hardest difficulty, you can save the orc's base doing that lol.

>set all of your units to go to the bottom base when trained
>build a metric ton of ancients to defend your base
>Keep holding off the waves

It's pretty easy, the land mines are shit don't bother

Followed by
>The recorruption of Thrall
>The Son of Thrall
>The redemption of Thrall
>The Murder of Thrall but his past self is here so that's okay
>The Corruption of Thrall's Past Self because Thrall's son dies
>The Murder of Thrall's Past Self
>Oh shit, um, the humans made a bomb or something
>Someone stop the demons, yeah, that sounds good

I remember just spamming land mines to wipe most of the waves but this was before the nerfed landmines stacks for multiplayer and I don't know if that actually affected the single player campaigns.

Metzen is gone

>Warcraft 4: various time travel shenanigans pack
>It's all just the worst wc3 levels with shittier gameplay

I beat this level on normal first time I played it, when I was 14

step the fuck up bitch

Are you playing on hard? I don't remember the level being much trouble

Oh yeah, just remembered... The campaign is in RoC 1.00 right?

He could abuse uprooted Ancient of Wars... 1000 HP, could melee attack and fortified armor for almost the same cost of a huntress... and doesn't take up food.

good* melee attack*

funny thing is Metzen left after WotLK so Thrall getting whored out for dumb shit in Cataclysm wasn't even his work but Kosack's

THESE FUCKING ELVESSSSSSSSSS

that guys single handedly damaged more the alliance than the horde could ever have had.

whosyourdaddy if you wanna cheese it with cheats.

Otherwise expand out to every mine ASAP. Hire a bunch of peeps and get goblin land mines. Use Furion's healing ability to keep those guys fresh. Do this all around Thrall's base to take advantage of the attack wave reset that happens after each faction is base is entirely destroyed. Make sure to make the ancients like every else said, too. My suggestion for actual production of night elven units is gotta be Dryads or whichever ones that are immune to spells to take care of the tougher overwhelming undead waves.

>than the horde could ever have had.
I disagree, the horde could do great things if they stopped being pussies.

And now you're 40 with no wife or life and still a virgin.

Faggot.

wouldn't he be like 30?

i tried playing the campaign again recently and i just get raped

Why are the two human campaigns so fucking great?
Why are both the orc campaigns so shit?

Hopefully after Legion. I think Legion just might be the longest lasting WoW iteration with how they are pumping content into it. With Sargeras probably dead at the end of it, they can start new stories with a Warcraft 4 like they did with Arthas and LK in 3 or expand on the Void Lords like they did the demons in 3.

Metzen has retired now though, so absolutely zero influence from the guy.

For some reason he only really reminds me of what Blizzard did to the Blood Elves in WoW and how against their own character everything the blood elves especially Kael did.

build as many siege trees as you can and get as many hypogriff riders (fuck you I cant remember their names)

hotkey all the riders to groups 1 and 2 and use them to take out boss tier targets and use the siege trees as fodder. fart out as many trees as you can as well as riders.

there is an "enrage" limit for each base where there is no chance of winning and you get pushed back. repeat tactic for the orc base

>mfw when I tried to tower defense it by spawning tree guys at every base until they filled every inch

>mfw it was never enough

>whosyourdaddy
>thereisnospoon
>iseedeadpeople
There you go.

2003 was 23 years ago.

Oh one more thing, build a few druids for that roar attack buff to stack with tyrande's aura to have your gryph riders just assassinate the fuck out of shit.

ahh ic, I should've known it's 2026.

>we are closer to 2026 than to 9/11

arthas' story was fun, scrubbing mal'ganis' base with just arthas is satisfying. lord of outland is my favorite mission IMO with the idea of Illidan taking over draenor with a diverse army on par with the alliance or horde is cool
while orcs have thrall trying to keep the orcs from orcing (but playing/fighting chaos orcs was fun) and the tft "bonus" campaign is boring since there's little consequence from dying

Holy SHIT Sylvanas is OP.

Doing the sleeping dreadlord/human mission, just use her charm to take all of their frost wyrms when they attack, and my banshees take their abominations.

They can't do shit

fun fact: you can possess a human peasant to get access to the alliance buildings

>Take mine in the top left corner of the map
>Somehow AI enemy knows it's there in a campaign mission
>Sends 4 frost wyrms and gargoyles to destroy it

Fucking bullshit man

This mission is piss fucking easy, how much of a shitter do you have to be to need help?

Kek, didn't know that. Fucking OP as shit, no hero comes close to her.

Kel'thuzad is by far the worst

>tfw kael died in tbc for loots

>every WC3 replay
>build base defenses
>take my time to upgrade everything
>let enemy run out of resources
>wipe them out with no resistance

TFT is kinda annoying the amount of times it ups the difficulty by having you control 2-3 different teams at once

>select 12 units
>ctrl 1
>one squad
>select another 12 units ctrl 2
>two squads
>tap 1
>move em in quick
>tap 2 to back up squad 1
its not bad

...

Jesus, I beat this game when I was 13.

Just an hero already you faggot.

Was there anybody who could come close to MOON during the peak of competitive wc3?

What was the competitive scene like in WC3? I imagine banshees make Undead pretty powerful, and humans strong. Can't imagine night elves doing much

you imagine completely wrong, friend

It was from what I watched
Moon's NE

power gap

Orc
UD/Humans ( never figured which was stronger)
NE

>orcs that high

Wow, always struggled with their campaigns

Pro scene still isn't dead actually. The main Undead strategy basically revolves around their orb lowering armor and then nuking heroes and other big units with death coil nova and crypt fiend focus fire with statue support. The undead has generally been considered the weakest race, partially because they have no good access to healing until tier 2, cannibalism sucks.

Blademaster was unanimously OP.

Worst mission ever?

>That night elf mission where you only have Tyrande and you can only train archers
>Have to fight alliance base, with a paladin hero who can bubble and heal

Fucking shit mission

Nah. Orcs are stupidly good because of their Blademaster hero whose windwalking ability allows it to be a more efficient hero than other ones at both leveling up and harassing the enemy. Combine that with Orcs also sorta being like the Protoss of WC3 (expensive, strong units) and they are easily top tier.

Undead's options for the most of it are weak as fuck. Reaching banshees is a waste of time, and usually it's just Death Knights + Crypt Fiends for the UD.

Night Elves also have a very strong hero (Demon Hunter). Take him with Bears who are both sturdy and can heal plus Dryads who are spell immune and you're good.

Not sure about Humans they kinda go all over the place.

It was amazing IMO. I loved Brood War but TFT was the best competitive RTS I ever played. In its heyday it was very popular and there were some really amazing games that came out of it.

There were a lot of heroes that were deemed OP, but it had some general balance at the top. DK was pretty OP for casual players, and some decent players could wreck your shit with it:
youtube.com/watch?v=bPY3k4158A0

Humans expand in 2 minutes with militia creeping and tower up with their crazy high dps towers.

>tfw Grubby now a HotS shill

Competitively, as in 1v1 it went

Human>NE>Orc>UD

Human has the easiest time expanding and the most adaptive army with the workshop. Night Elf isn't far behind in either of those regards thanks to their ancients and the dryad/bear combo. Orc was quite weak until Blademaster got buffed and now the entire army revolves around him. Undead is the weakest in solo play as their army is shut down the moment the Death Knight gets harrassed or creep jacked.

Human
>Archmage/Mountain King Rifle/Sorcs/Breakers
Nelf
>Demon Hunter/Pandaren + Bears/Dryads
Orc
>Blademaster/Shadow Hunter (or TC) Grunt/Raider/Walker
Undead
>Death Knight/Lich Fiends/Statues/Destroyers

There are certain strats that get employed depending on the match-up, for example:

>Nelf player takes DemonHunter/Tinker/Beastmaster
>Masses druid of the talon
>Cyclones the Orcish blademaster and tauren chieftain
>Orc player is forced to spam disenchant on his spirit walkers to dispel the effect
>Meanwhile orcish units likely have armor reduction and the summoned units from the night elf heroes overwhelm the orcish army whilst the cyclones keep the Blademaster away from slaying the low hp elf units
>DH can just mana burn him anyway

It's kinda funny watching Grubby lose to randoms on Warcraft Arena servers to that strategy, it's pretty much impossible to beat, and why the community is calling for balance updates (They're actually working on this now the classic games team in blizzard is a thing)

Never enjoyed PvP in RTS games because cheese tactics just aren't fun to play or play against, I prefer to slowly build up a big army and launch a full on assault. Not tower rush or whatever

>Kel'thuzad cool!
>low hp
>meh damage
>Shit abilities

Feels bad man, wish they'd made a burning legion team to control

That'd be unbalanced
Demonic units are so op

the summoning heroes are problematic in general

I enjoy watching Grubby play HotS.

grubby streams wc3 again now, and isn't that interested in starcraft

he shilled the shit out of it, but he's realized what the future holds for him (not much) and returned to his original stomping grounds

yeah I was just making a passing comment on him, he's neat, I noticed he started doing wc3 shit again and he takes HotS for what it is, seeing him sperg out over Samuro was kinda funny

>gameplay wise you have it on hots

KYS Moba is the retarded offspring of the RTS who murdered his father and took his place.

Also MOBAS don't have WC3s custom games

>KYS Moba is the retarded offspring of the RTS who murdered his father and took his place.

2bh pham the only mission in Reign of Chaos on hard difficulty that actually made me (almost) ragequit is the one where you have to wake up Furion

You didn't actually fight the orc base, right? I figured it was impossible to beat, so I just ignored it.

>using cheats in NV to complete quests
weak

the only time I had to use a cheat code on hard difficulty with hardcore enabled was during one play through where my entire follower inventory with most of my guns glitched out and disappeared due to the casino glitch. even then I only replaced two of my guns (anti materiel rifle with mods because it is a pain to get and marksman carbine for the same reason).

in darkshore, they were un-reachable NPC's pre-cata and they joined the horde as enemy NPC's post-cata

it's a little complicated

I would put Orcs at #1, but they lose hard VS NE on tavern maps
other then than that I would rate them Orcs>NE==Human>Undead

That being said, Undead are kind of a wild card race. DK+Litch is a very strong combo especially with orb on litch. Also it's not common, but if Undead can level up tri heros they become a huge force to be reckoned with. Even though on average they might lose undead players can pull off insane wins

The RoC campaign was so much fun.

>you can beat every level just by spamming watch towers and catapults
>except for the last level, which you can easily beat by spamming wyverns since the enemy literally has no units that can attack air besides weak warlocks

-Build at the expansion mines right away
-Get furion to run around the map rescuing the neutral creeps and send them to Jaina
-Send all of your forces to Jaina
-get 2 ancient of war and 2 ancient of wind and spam hippogryph riders
-research upgrades
-get a couple bears and dryads and send them to jaina
-on big waves use Tyrande's Starfall (you should have given her a necklace of spell immunity from a previous mission)
-on big waves use Furion's Tranquility
-once Jaina's base starts getting overrun move everything you have back to Thrall's base
-use furion to buy goblin land mines and put them along the path to Thrall's base (I hope you found the boots of speed from a previous mission)
-use furions treants and roots to harass the enemy waves before they get to Thrall
-keep your forces inside Thrall's base and build moonwells and ancient protectors everywhere
-you should be able to hold here with a group of hippos + starfall + tranquility + dryads to cleanse magic

how can you not fight them? They are in the middle of the way to the horn
