mediocre animations, mediocre particles and gore, guns dont look satisfying, you fight only 6 enemies max at a time. Nothing about this game stands out.

KF-style progression would be neat in this manner, although so would EYE's.
I just hope the game does a little better with alternative modes of enemy management, especially if all the guns have fuck huge particle effects with little AoE damage and melee makes you effectively blind. Didn't really look like the mace had any damage past one hit too.
The damage and health values on the 2 higher difficulties are being tweaked at the moment, it can get pretty difficult and teamwork is pretty important, at least maving a good apothecary is. You cant heal yourself and its easy to get swarmed especially against the big genestealers.
Areas are way too wide and spacious. Space Hulk is all about walking single file in a tight corridor while xenos swarm you from all sides.

Can you switch classes/loadouts anywhere, or do you have to be near an armory?
Most of the areas are pretty tight, there are some larger areas and I find them to be really exciting, you have a tendency to block your teams shots and vice versa so the wide wares make it so you can throw a lot of firepower down range. Theres a decent mix of environments,almost no re used hallways besides whatever theme of the area youre in.

Assault Marines do it all the time. You're not going to be able to do it in this game though, since that's a waste of Terminator armor.

You can do it whenever which is both kinda great and pretty lame. Great as you can switch to amedic if someone leaves or wont change, lame as its kinda jarring and its weird to just change out whenever the fuck you feel like, even while being attack if you want (youll die)
Sound is spooky and atmospheric as fuck.
I don't want to say for certain, but I think there's a correlation between the number of players in the game, and the frequency and size of swarms.

Pretty good, you can hear the Space Hulk groaning form stress, footsteps sound nice and heavy. Theres an engine room that has big gears and the sound is almost deafening like actually being in a machine shop. Its really nice. But I feel like they need a beefier sound for the storm bolter and assault cannon. The other weapons/gore sounds/powerfist sfx are great.

It doesnt work like that sorta, the spawns are ppretty scripted but different areas of the ship will spawn different and alternating wave of enemies so if you have 4 guys all over the map then itll spawn a lot of stealers in the different areas but if everyone is together its the same. But dont be fooled, on higher difficulties its easy to be swarmed, and if not careful easily surround and fucked.
This video is loud as fuck to be blunt. I don't think you will be disappointed. You hear them stomping around, bolters sound like a tank is shooting. The ambient noise definitely sounds like you're in a ship with the hull creaking and loud mechanical/engine sounds off in the background pretty regularly(constantly).
How can you be swarmed from all sides if theres only enough space for single file?
Story mode, you teleport back to the battle barge (i guess) where it seems you switch your load out for. You do it in the tutorial.

Its great, the screen will shake slightly when you hear the groaning and you feel like your down in the depths of a place that wants you dead. Very grimdark feeling, i cant stress enough that I feel like they got the atmosphere and level design down that any Warhammer fan is going to feel at home. I'm picky when it comes to franchise games and so far I've put in roughly 27 hours on the single chapter thtas in the beta.

Jesus christ what a terrible UI. This is the type of shit people make fun of consoles for. Between the weapons, map, armor, whatever the fuck else, you're probably seeing about 70% of the screen.
I won't refute your opinions but there's definitely more than 6 max, you'll have small groups of stealers kinda pestering you while running away then the main group will attack and while its hard to count I'd say theres roughly 10-20 guys coming at you at a time. Some may be ranges, some may the different melee variants. But at times it almost exhausting at how many stealers your have to mow down.

They are slowed down by it, but they are still extremely superhuman. They would outpace any normal person in terminator armor.
That DoW3 shit is way overboard though, they can't do super jumps like that.
