Just ordered these two games online today, what did you guys think of them?

Haven't played the first one. As for the second, I found playing the campaign in co-op tremendously increases the enjoyment factor.
You fucked up by not ordering E.X. Troopers too. It's beyond cheap.
>anime shit
Both are pretty great games.
LP2 is one of my all-time favorite games actually
Also this.
2 is my favorite. Get some friends and you'll have a blast. The super train sequence is probably one of the most fun co-op experiences in video games.
Lost Planet 1 is great, but the special edition is way better. Lost Planet 2 is dogshit.
Lost Planet 3 is amazing.
They're ok. Gets boring quickly (as soon as you finish the campaign) if you're an autist, which I'll assume you are, because you're on .
Wait...am I confused?
Oh, I'm sorry. You should get LP3 instead then from the American overlords at Spark Unlimited.
You wanted an FPS, right?
I want you to fuck off and die bitch!
I really enjoyed the first one and loved the look. I didn't care much for the second one. However it's coop is pretty fun.
I think you mixed up 2 and 3
>Lost Planet 3 is amazing.
Opinion discarded. It was by far the worst of the three.
Lost Planet 1 is a singleplayer experience. It had multiplayer but it was mostly forgettable. The game was rather too arcadey, but it had a great concept.
Lost Planet 2 is a multiplayer experience. The singleplayer was pretty boring on its own, if still competent. The weapon and mech variety has increased, and the gameplay is just all around better. In addition, the set pieces are just fucking awesome. It still ended up being a very average game, however. A real shame, as I think if they had taken the series seriously 3 would have been genuinely fantastic.
Too bad it was around the time when capcom was throwing their IPs to western developers no one has heard before
I mixed up 2 and 3, my apologies.
>Lost Planet 1 = Dead Space
>Lost Planet 2 = Monster Hunter
LP1 is nothing like Dead Space.
This
>Nip-only
What's the fucking point?
TREASURE BORRACHOS IS THE BEST FOUR PLAYER EXPERIENCE YOU WILL EVER HAVE
I've always wanted to try them out but the games for windows live turns me off.
It's not required for the first game and easy to get around with the second. Takes about 5 minutes if you know what you're doing.
>Lp2
>Average
nigga you from underwater base to space and back and fight a sand worm while wearing a servbot head
LP1 is a fun arcadey shooter. The story is a bit of a clusterfuck but the gunplay is satisfying, the robots are great and the levels, though not visually varied much are nice to play through, and the setting is still pretty. Worth playing through, I count completing it on Extreme as one of my bigger vidya achievements because it's hard as frozen balls.
LP2 improves on literally everything from the first game and is genuinely one of the best games ever made. I already posted why in a thread about perfect games yesterday but it just steps absolutely everything up that was great already, and is an experience beyond compare when played in a full team.
