I main Q. I'm not particularly good but I usually beat bads.

Most fun character. Starts off at a huge disadvantage, taunts up to strong as fuck. Still, has no projectiles and you have to be good to actually be good at him.

Not having projectiles isn't really too much of a disadvantage in 3S. Also his jab (especially his air jab) is absurdly good

Mate, Necro is one of the lowest tier characters in the game, if he could actually do that he'd be a lot higher tier.

Last I checked, three lowest tier characters were Twelve, Necro, and Q. They can all do some neat shit, but they're generally bad.

any competent player will know all of the tools that enable Q to taunt and never let you get away with it
you have to be a fucking grand wizard of 3S to be able to get away with some of the shit that Q asks of you to win

The amount of benefit you gain from taunting is based on how much HP you have at the time you taunt, though. If you manage to get 3 taunts at full health, sure you're a beast. But if you don't even taunt until half HP, your benefit is pretty low.

Also remember Q starts with lower HP than other characters (Besides Akuma I think) pre-taunting.

I can't find a better quality video, but Kuroda is one of the best Q players of all time, here's a video of him taunting the fuck out of Justin Wong.

I believe this is the one where, at the end of the match, Justin Wong tries to shake his hand and he completely ignores it.

Kuroda is my street fighter idol, and he's why I picked up Q.

I dunno, I feel like Makoto takes some skill to play pretty well. She needs those command grab Hayate links and mix-ups to do well but my god can she be scary in the hands of a good player

he's literally toying with one of the best 3S players in America at the time on several occasions during that match, Kuroda has always been on another plane from other players

Justin was notorious for playing a very lame Chun, which means a very predictable game plan that is still very effective because his character is so dominant
Kuroda was notorious for absolutely dominating with a shit character, so dominating in the face of someone like Justin would come down to a matter of pride
combined with the international tension in the 3S scene, with Japanese players being absolutely more dominant than Americans, you get a match like that, with Kuroda literally mocking him several times from the very beginning of the first round to the end of the last

Just play Ken in 3-3

Kuroda isn't as dominant as he used to be.

He can't meme on other top players with any character he wants anymore.

Pretty sure he's also still salty about getting dumpstered by Thanatos' Oro and not being able to learn the character to the same degree.

Necro is lower mid, and the worst characters are Twelve and Sean by a fairly large margin. He does actually have really crazy corner juggles regardless.

Q's HP/defense is rather high before taunting, and it's very easy to get off all three. Any SA1/2 or C&DB combo is two free taunts against most of the cast.

and than when i lose a match i choose yun, have finally learned a mid screen combo and proper corner combo that does 40% damage, dudley and oro when i am feeling wacky but my win rate with oro is highest. and gouki in mirror matches.

Nope. There was a new tier list that came out earlier this year and Remy is considered the worst character in the game at grade E. Even Sean and Twelve are considered better.

That's questionable considering Remy still sees play while the other 3 do not.

2 fighters have mostly been shit for a pretty long time

most of us don't want to memorize frame data on block, off of a spreadsheet, for an extremely small moveset, just so we can know what's safe and what's not

3d fighters have always been better but those are effectively dead

there is no intuitive way to learn it. you HAVE to get someone to hack the game and look at the frame data.
