>that one kid who had a skannerz
That one kid who had a skannerz
Commander reporting in, though my parents wouldn't ever let me bring it to the store with me
WHY??
>Wanted it so fucking bad
>Gave mother puppy eyes whenever we passed the toystore
>She said it was shit and waste of cash
>Got me a Playstation game instead
Thank you mother for not listening to the retarded me.
what's the handheld toy game where you'd go through almost maze type things and fight like aliens? I don't know that's all i really remember from it. It was very basic graphics green screen with just black outlines but you could move around and maybe open doors with keys and stuff. around the same time as all those digimon walker things too
I remember these, but I rarely saw anyone who had them.
I had the Commander. Made for a good diversion when mom was shopping in stores I didn't want to go to like Goodwill.
Feminine health section had the best scans of every aisle in Ralphs.
What the fuck why
Same, I thought the concept was cool but ultimately I didn't care if I had one or not.
Zendra boi
Over protective I guess? They also refused to buy me a console that wasn't Nintendo brand so I sold all my shit to get a fat ps3 in high school. Was worth it even though I didn't think so at the time
Was it POX?
I never owned a Skannerz but what was the difference between the regular and Commander models?
>refused to buy me a console that wasn't Nintendo brand
?? That's really weird. Are you sure you sure your parents aren't on the spectrum?
Why dont they make that into an app. You can scan barcodes with your phones.
Make it digimon to compete with Pokemon Go.
>tfw everyone has Digimon back in school
>one time one kid's digimon is missing from his backpack after lunch
>the whole school went apeshit
I wanted these to get big back in the day.
maybe they were in some places but my school system never touched them.
People would just scan online barcodes to get the best monsters.
...
>tfw I had the red Skannerz unit
>play with it all the time
>go to the store with mom to get a gift for a friend's birthday
>she thinks it'd be good to get him the Skannerz Commander so that I'd have someone to play with (Commander could capture ALL monsters as opposed to just a single tribe)
>I wanted it but I thought it'd be fun to have a friend with one
>Fucking kid never even uses it
>I had to give away the toy I wanted most to some faggot who probably never even opened it
>mfw I never had the Skannerz Commander
People did similar autism with pokemon go. I would love a digimon phone app.
Its a good thing my local toystore never stocked up on this shit.
Pataak master race
My younger brother still hashis
I got the red version
I don't care what anyone says, battlechips were a fantastic concept and they missed out on a gold mine by not having more high quality Battle Network toys.
Looks like the Tamagotchi Digivices,
I was stuck on some level with levers in a room. I still am stuck on this level to this day (I still have mine)
And there is no let's plays of the game online. So I never was able to finish it
Literally five seconds on google to find a walkthrough with detailed maps.
you can do this easily with cell phones now but a lot of the charm is gone
