Whats wrong with metal music in a videogame?
Nothing, the new Doom has a brilliant sound track and it's official goty 2016
its cringey unless it fits the setting. modernized and contemporary music should only be utilized if the setting is contemporary (i.e. GTA uses real music sountracks because its set in a fictionalized version of our real world)
>trailer has dubstep
>game has no dubstep
CRAAAAAAWWLING INNNN MY SKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN
Name one thing wrong with this in the year 2016 when dubstep has faded out as being EDM's meme genre?
>game has licenced music
>rock or any variation of it soundtrack
It's all about how well said music/genre can fit with the game.
Example:
youtube.com
It's fucking ruined by music that doesn't fit at all.
>implying the tony hawk games aren't goat
>user's in this thread complaining about the inclusion of dubstep are too young to remember that the PS1 era capitalsed on the massive growth of the house and rave scene by putting it into games such as Tekken and wipeout. Having dupstep in a game like Tekken SOMETIMES as well as house/trance is just calling back to its historical roots of using popular dance music.
>the same anons who mock dance music in games will freeze up and get all confused when you mock metal music in games as an example why they are being silly
>w-whuts wrong with m-metal tho! Its really acshully cool!?!!!
rules of nature, let er rip im sure....
Anyways... I for one am looking foward to how hype drum & bass music in T7 is gonna be! You know? That series that has always had some form of dance music in it since it began? They even orginally called it "rave war."
Rocket League is really fun and addicting but the soundtrack gives me AIDS.

Name 10 games with dubstep
I think the worst trailer I have seen in years is the BF1 trailers that have the stupid dubstep version of the White Stripes song. Legit makes me cringe
>half the soundtrack is public domain
