Mobius Final Fantasy

Holy shit, this guy is an asshole to everyone and everything. I'm not sure if I find this refreshing or unnerving. He makes Squall seem over-sensitive.

Also, I fucking hate this game.
It almost feels like it scratches that Chain of Memories itch of mine, but it's so imperfect and that it's more like spreading a rash.
Yet I keep coming back to it like a crack whore.

>This game died on arrival because all you do is dress up a guy
Let this be a lesson to devs, no more dicks, more cute girls.

Did it? Seems kinda active to me. Not thriving, but not exactly dead.
Maybe it was the multiplayer update that got players in.

I liked his attitude.

Dude lands on a strange world without knowing why, and from the moment he arrives all everyone does is order him around. You'd be giving everyone shit as well if that happened. It's a lot more sensible than the average RPG hero, even if he does usually end up doing what he's told anyway. But I guess that's mostly because it's not like he has anything better to do and I'd rather hang out with Echo and Garland than with all the shitty blanks.

What bothered me more is that he didn't give Mog more shit. He saves Mog's life and the little guy is all like okay I'm yours now, and then all he does is order him around again with extra cryptic bullshit thrown in. And for some reason he's suddenly your only friend and we're supposed to sympathize with the little shit. He's way worse than Echo (Echo is a bossy little shit too, but she's also the only person in the entire world who actually helps you out) and yet I'm supposed to accept that Mog is my best friend while Echo is treated as a pest you just can't get rid of.

The game died on arrival because it didn't let you pick and build up your own avatar using armor and jobs and what not and build mini parties using other peoples characters and monsters.

They fucked it up from jump. I'm not interested in the lead or the story.

Has all of the things that people like from the FF franchise and pissed it away on a bad lead.

Why are the thief-type armors so gay?

Like, flamboyantly gay. It's all leather pants and bare chests and feathers and shit.

Even the initial onion knight armor was gay as fuck.
Like deep dark fantasy.

Sounds like you exactly want Dragon Quest of the Stars.
Too bad it's japan-onry.

Goddamnit Square.
Not even the Jap fans like it. Visual Kei is not everyone's bag.

Yeah...nah. I ain't playing a game where I have to cross dress to use super powers.

Garland is a cutie.

>I ain't playing a game where I have to cross dress to use super powers.
Jester is a shit class anyways, don't worry about it.

>Goddamnit Square.
It's just the thief/ranger style armors. Most of the fighter-type armors are decent (the dark lord armor I'm using myself is appropriately edgy as fuck and doesn't have an inch of exposed skin), and the mage armors are pretty boss robes with cool masks.

And since mages and fighters shit all over thieves in this game, there's not really any good reason to dress up like a fruit anyway.

I do it when I face stronger-level earth and wind bosses.
Elemental Shift+support card that causes you to only draw one element while also giving resistance to the opposing element. Really cushions the blow of attacks that could be doing 400-600+ damage.
Otherwise I'll use fighter-type, since it has the best fight music.

I think Thief and Ninja look pretty good.
It's the Neophyte Ranger, Ranger, Hunter and Dancer that look gay as fuck.

Got 7 star Dragoon, 6 star Sage (called Scholar here for some reason) and currently working on getting Knight and Samurai to 6 before I decide what to 8 star.

How much time do you spend playing mobile games?

I only play a like 2 battles a day and I've got nothing above 4 stars.

Lots of time but I autobattled through pretty much everything that isn't monthly tower event and multiplayer.
Also read up on the game a bit so I knew what to invest all my free shit into.

Haven't spent a dime on it, but played since release back in august.

I've already got almost all the jobs (only 5 left) and all of them are at 3 star minimum. I eventually plan to get them all to 4 star minimum for the weapons.

Got full Fire/Ice/Wind/Earth Sword ability cards at 4 star with maxed abilities as well as matching 4 star set of the Sicarius cards for Warrior type jobs.

Currently waiting on new Growthstar from the daily login bonus list clear to 4 star my Boost card.

Then I'll start working on getting 4 star Fire/Blizzard/Aero/Stone and Sicarius cards for my Mage type jobs, in the meantime making do with 3 stars.

I doubt I'll ever work on 4 starring any Ranger type abilities beyond Sicarius though since Ranger playstyle is shit and his jobs look homosexual for the most part.

Oh and I don't play any other mobage, the only reason I play this one is due to extremely lenient F2P with basically no gacha since you can buy all ability cards with ability tickets that the game literally showers you with and you can't get duplicate Jobs from the gacha and there's not many of them so again pretty easy to get shit.

Yeah I like that the game allows you to do pretty much everything without paying. You get like 100-160 of the premium currency each day just for logging in twice a day. So if you spend 3000 each month on the premium box (which is nice since it gives you openers, growstars, summon cards, etc.) you still have some left for other stuff.

Yeah really happy with the F2P model here.

I just wish there was another way of getting Growstars that isn't Magicite/cash shop since that's kinda the main roadblock for me right now.

So is it better to play in Hard mode all the time for better rewards, or in Normal mode for faster fights?

I've been playing in Hard mode pretty much since the beginning, but I'm somewhat doubting if it's even worth it.

Normal for clearing regions
Hard for skillseed grind

Right, that makes sense.
