I know it's a comedy act, but I can't help but agree with just about everything he says, for every game he plays.

The fact is that, even though we are the target audience for most games (and kids are as well of course), we're all shut-ins. We have a greater capacity to appreciate a good game, and definitely more time to sink into them, than people who aren't shut-ins. But it's a double edged sword. Someone like Conan instantly points out how retarded some design choices are, which so many shut-ins overlook and for some reason have grown to accept.

E-celebs are all worthless because they're just talkative shut-ins or they're trying their hardest to appeal to us. They don't provide an insightful perspective. Conan does though, because he is completely outside our culture, and you can tell even though it's an act that there's an aspect of his experience that's completely genuine. If not, he's a damn good actor, because he reacts to things just like how my relatives have before.
