>just 9 more years until Sega returns and saves gaming
I can't wait
Has this been translated and can I burn my own copy to play on my console? I've been waiting for this game for so long that I can't be bothered to follow it any longer.
Psychic Force 2012, fighting game with full flight at all times on a 2D plane
Is the DC version of Half-Life particularly special in some way? I believe the PS2 version had an exclusive co-op campaign, if I'm not mistaken.
It looks better than the PC version if that gives much reason
Also has mods - a lot of mods
A cancelled game has a lot of mods
>Blue Stinger
>Shenmue
>MDK 2
A good start.
god damn i miss the era of sega when they made weird as fuck games. i mean what other company would make a game that makes fun of themselves?
Skies of Arcadia
pic related and Soul Calibur, Power Stone 2, and Tech Romancer
StarLancer
Seconded. Skies of Arcadia stood out as something really amazing, especially considering that it came out around the tail end of a surge of great JRPGs. I still with the Purple Moon country (the ice level) actually had a proper dungeon and boss since the game feels so incomplete without it. It's also pretty bullshit that the game hints at a Black or Dark Moon but then it does nothing with it. But honestly, that is fucking it; I have a hard time coming up with concrete complaints for this masterpiece.
And on top of everything, the GCN remake added more and is even better. If there's one game that really needs a sequel, it's SoA. That, and Shenmue but only because its games keep leaving off on cliffhangers.
is the dreamcast proof that you dont need good exclusives to sell your console?
>so many amazing games
>on the last system they ever put out
>even when the CEO sold all his stock to save the company from going under
>only to die
Sega delivered the best gift ever
Last post they made was in September 2013. Any other source talking about translations ends up to that link. Rip.
I want this series to come back.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
This should be common knowledge by now but just in case:
The Dreamcast console has absolutely no copy protection whatsoever. With a base console (no modding whatsoever) Dreamcast .ISOs can be easily downloaded and burned onto a 700mb music CD.
If you already have a Dreamcast console then all you need are some 700mb music CDs (which are cheap as hell), and a CD burner. Keep in mind that not all .ISO rips are perfect but most of them should at least be pretty damn close.
Also, the Dreamcast versions of Resident Evil 2 and 3 are arguably the best versions ever released so far.
BOOLETS
incredible
This was a pretty odd beat-em-up, and that's really saying something considering the Dreamcasts library. Best enjoyed with a friend.
Well, taking into account that SEGA died on the Dreamcast...
>Zombie Revenge
Its so cheesy tho
DAVE MIRRA'S FREESTYLE BMX MOTHERFUCKER
may he rest in peace
>americuck
That is fucking awful. This game could really use a translation. Thankfully, Policenauts and Mother 3, as well as other games, got great translations but SGGG is one that's being sorely missed.
If D2 is anything like the first game, then it can go ahead and fuck off.
Early in the morning
>THPS3 was on every other 6th gen console and on the ps1 & n64 but not the dreamcast

Part 2 on DC is JP only, came out later for a PS2 Special Edition in the US.
thats actually wrong
the protection as the proprietary disc format
MIL-CD was the the problem due to an exploit
the GD-R still cannot be read by any drive except for the dreamcast and dreamcast devkits
Spawn: In the Demon's Hand.
Dreamcast had a tough time with 3rd parties and it's most likely part of the reason why it ultimately failed. For example, there isn't a single game from EA on the Dreamcast (at least not to my knowledge) due to EA's mistrust of SEGA's management after 32X, SEGA CD, and Saturn bombed pretty hard. Interestingly enough, the SEGA Sports series of games was often praised over EA's own sports games but the Madden name is too big to bring down easily.
It's an awful shame too because the Dreamcast ran on pretty simple development tools (modeled after Windows architecture) and it's library of games ended up being fucking incredible, not to mention it was the first console, in my opinion, to really nail online play. Hell, I'd say it did so better than the PS2 even. The Dreamcast did not deserve the fate that it ended up with but that's just the way things go sometimes.
>no one old enough in here to have play spawn
kek
Risin' to my feet
good job user
>calling people young for not playing a game on the worst 6th gen console
but spawn isnt on the gamecube though?
More like the ULTIMATUM gaming system, amirite?
Bet you feel really cool bringing up an obscure game that you think no one else played, huh? No one but me!
Ever tried four players, free-for-all, all Medieval Spawn, in that tiny ass forest stage with the four rooms hidden at the corners? That shit is fun as fuck.
It basically played like a more unbalanced Power Stone 2 with crazy characters and abilities, as well as worthless additions like playing as a wolf or a zombie. The labyrinth stages were also way too big.
My brother and I spent tons of hours on this game and I unlocked a lot of characters. I tried it again just for nostalgia sake and some shit I didn't realize before (like the utility of the sniper character in some stages) made me appreciate the game a little more but it definitely hasn't aged well. I wouldn't say it's worth playing unless you're a fan of Spawn (there're a lot of playable characters) or if you just want an even wackier Power Stone 2.
Actually, there is a Spawn game on GCN. It's not In The Demon's Hand though.
Shenmue 1 + 2, avoid iso's unless you can verify it's not a rip since audio was cut to fit it on normal 700mb CD's (the cracked self booting ones)
Is this a JoJo reference?
Daytona USA, ECW Hardcore Revolution, Sonic Adventure, NFL 2K1, Demolition Racers, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing
POWER STONES 2
I literally popped in Power Stone 2 last night. You guys need to take the nostalgia goggles off. It wasnt what I remembered and it definitely isnt what you remember either. Sorry guys. Its shit.
>I literally popped in Power Stone 2 last night.

You're a JoJo reference.
