No
Im not being a Sup Forums hate bandwagoner but it honestly sucks
good god no
I just started so far pretty gud
you can use any weapon in the game no matter your class, this alone beats gw2 desu
is unarmed viable in this game? might check it out if unarmed isn't shit
>MMORPG
Take a wild fucking guess
I think it has a free trial, just try it?
Nah
It's an Elder Scrolls game plus they hired actual writers, so it's really not that bad.
It's still an MMO, which means there's only going to be 1 viable weapon per role.
I want to try this, but I don't want to interact with any other player, is there a way to completely phase yourself from other players?
It's like I'd probably enjoy it more if I played it alone or with a friend maybe. Can you do this? If not, fuck this game it looks shit because MMO.
Cyrodiil is probably the best PvP experience since Dark Age of Camelot. The rest is hit or miss. I didn't like the PvE of it.
Even with its problems it's one of the only good MMOs out currently.

Here you go bud.
It's a standard theme park MMO with skyrim flavouring. Don't expect skyrim+co-op because it is not that.
If I were to set skyrim (vanilla) as a baseline for comparison ESO would look like:
(5 is matching skyrim)
World Design: 6
Combat: 6
Quests: 7
Freedom: 2
ESO is currently free for the weekend so give it a shot and see how you like it. The quest lines for each faction are pretty long so there is more than enough to do.
Played it too much. A new experience with controls of Elder Scrolls would be something else though, that's what I was thinking, like just level to max and then quit it.
The combat is fucking shit.
Its set in the TES universe but its not an Elder Scrolls RPG, it's an MMO. Replay Oblivion or Morrowind or start digging for other WRPGS.
It's a relatively lonely MMO. Its pretty easy to solo, there is no decent community chat, no auction house, the areas are relatively empty (never seen more than two other players at a time) and there are no community events.
So it's an Elder Scrolls game.
>Megaserver phasing to force players into your instance
>Zone chat exists
>Up to 5 guilds
>Guild traders exist
>Currently an event in Wrothgar which has caused everyone to flock there for double drops
>Just finished a Halloween bonus XP event.
Your post really fired my neurons.
Depending on how you play, it might satisfy you. It "feels" kind of like an Elder Scrolls game, but horribly restricted by the theme park MMO model. If you like grinding and questing then I think it does it better than Skyrim, but if you want to craft a unique avatar that can climb every mountain you will be disappointed.
Yeah you can be self sufficent. end game gear is actuallu behind a solo arena. raid parties get salty as fuck.
I was also triggered. What a faggot.
The first person mode sold the game to me, it's very immersive, but don't go expecting a revolutionary MMO experience or something like that.
all I wanted was some skyrim multiplayer mod but they decided to make a wow clone and then put a lot of stuff on top to make the combat not look like wow but the last footage I've seen, 2 years ago or something, the arrow seems like it's homing in on the enemy so, uh, lol I guess
Its a good murderhobo simulator, but don't expect to be able to interact with the game world in a meaningful way without your sword.
Yeah, the combat has the slippery look that all TES games have, but it's actually just standard tab targetting (with action dodges). Bows are also super weak, it feels like you are shooting spit balls.
