>In this world, the government has established a special promotional system called “the Gifted Program” that awards students carrying the promise of the future, called SHSLs, with special privileges. The SHSL Pianist Akamatsu Kaede is one of these students.
>These SHSL gifted students are scattered throughout the country, and have never met each other in person, but one day, sixteen SHSL students including Kaede are locked up inside the Prison School for the Gifted.
Landon Jones
Other details: - Kibo was built by a professor who didn't have children, so he built a robot as a substitute for a kid. He went to school like a normal boy and was given the SHSL title for his abilities. - Shuuichi's uncle is a detective, and he learnt from him. - Gonta was raised by wolves. He can also talk to animals. - Tsumugi likes to make costumes, but prefers others to wear them. She also talks in 3rd person. She's totally going to be turned into jelly. - Monosuke is the straight man among the Monokumers.
Grayson Baker
Lastly: - Scrum Debates are confusing as fuck, there's basically two groups arguing and your own group, a third one, is supposed to solve their argument by finding keywords in their lines or something. - MTB/PTA are now called Theory Armament, and it seems like it's a group vs. group minigame, too.
John Long
So: > Kibo is literally Pinocchio in a game where the main gimmick is lying >Shuuichi is Naoto >Gonta is a nordic stereotype
Julian Foster
So its confirmed to be a different universe from the HPA arc?
Cameron Allen
>Reboot I'm not beleving it for a second.
Matthew Scott
That was confirmed months ago.
Aiden Taylor
>Gonta is a nordic stereotype He strives to be a gentleman, so it's unlikely. It's that, or maybe the new system is Naegi's doing.
Adam Barnes
You just know Junko is going to appear And the Monokuma kid's resemble the Warriors of Hope too much be a coincidence
Grayson Morgan
You're done bitch get out of my game
Jose Gray
Wait, so they're dropping the entire plot of the first two games and anime and all other shit just so they could make another one without any trouble. Does this mean they're just gonna keep milking this prison battle-royal shit, cause I sure hope not.
Nathan Sanders
Did you want them to continue the old story? They already kinda wrote themselves into a corner with the DR2 ending and then DR3 was a trainwreck.
Ayden Hall
You're me and I'm you
Jason Edwards
I just don't want a danganronpa 24 in 10 years.
Lincoln Torres
>tfw no actual battle royale game
I just want terminator-kun to annoy me through the whole game
Levi Wright
I come bringing plot leaks. Don't believe me if you don't want to, but screenshot this.
>Rantarou (SHSL ???) is the mastermind controlling the regular vanilla Monokuma AI. He is killed by the SHSL Inventor in Chapter 2 after she regains memories of being forced to help him with building Monokuma >After his death is when the Monokumaz come in, a group of AIs also invented by the Inventor being controlled by a third "mastermind", who was to continue the game in case of Rantarou's death. >This final mastermind is not who they say they are. They are the SHSL Liar and are using their talent to pretend to be another. >It will be largely unexpected, but it is possible to piece it together yourself if you have a decent knowledge of the talent they are representing throughout the game.
Elijah James
What is Rantarou's talent, then?
William Baker
...
Michael Sanders
some people are saying he's the psychologist
but after all that's just a theory
A GAY THEORY!!!!!
Easton Clark
>After his death is when the Monokumaz come in It's already been confirmed that the killing game is started by Monotarou. Nice fanfiction, though.
Brandon Wright
I want to fuck Kaede
Dominic Brown
I didn't like her at first but now she made for some of the best faps of my life She just seems so nice to touch
Jordan Russell
He doesn't have one. That's his motivation largely. He plays out largely like an evil, more psychotic version of Hajime.
Constantly idolizing and dreaming of being one of the Gifted students, yet failing at everything he actually tried, jealousy grew inside him until he grew to despise all of the Gifted students for "stealing his chance to shine"
He is somewhat like an Elliot Rodger of talent. He doesn't get much personal backstory though, as he dies fairly early.
They are in it from the start but largely inconsequential outside of a few dialogues and appearances. They take over for Monokuma as the main villains once he is deactivated.
Hunter Phillips
Patrician taste.
Nathan Jackson
>nordic The founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus were raised by a wolf too, it's just a mythology trope
Kevin Lee
She only lactated them, the day after that she abandoned them near a countrymen's house
Jaxson Anderson
Depends on the myth In some versions she raised them In some others she was actually a prostitute who raised them as her own, apparently in ancient Rome wolf, at least female wolf, was slang for prostitute so it might be a misunderstanding of what exactly they meant by that
Leo Ward
Is he /our guy/, v? Along with Hoshi, of course.
Christian Jackson
Whoops, wrong picture used.
Daniel Ramirez
Hoshi and Fanta Dictator are our guys
Luke Brooks
I'm confused. So, are they actually criminals or what?
Cameron Green
Kaede is Junko
Hunter Cook
Don't open me!!!!!
Jayden Wright
She(he) should be put in jail for that Celeste
Carter Ramirez
Is Pianoman /our guy/?
Justin Sanchez
>And the Monokuma kid's resemble the Warriors of Hope too much be a coincidence
>the red one is the leader of sorts, which fits well enough >the pink one is blatantly girly, which kind of fits >the green one looks more like a robot than the others, which fits >the yellow one is a techy type, which is kind of like arts and crafts >the blue one isn't a smart type but rather a rocker with chest hair
...well, four out of five ain't half bad? I was kind of stretching, though. If they wanted to parallel the Warriors of Hope they'd probably have made it at least a bit more fitting.
Tyler Gray
What if this is someone from the original timeline going back and pulling a Junko on Junko, aka Kaede Akamatsu?
James Bennett
Kokichi most likely is. Unless he's an even bigger chuuni than Gundam.
Luke Hall
1st game: they put themselves there willingly 2nd game: they put themselves there semi-willingly 3rd game: hope things will be different this time. Maybe the cast built the prison for actual talented prisoners, but the tables got turned around, and the prisoners escaped while the cast was imprisoned.
Lincoln Price
tfw read that as "scrotum"
Colton Myers
There'd be no need for Hope's Peak if the SHSL system was already in work in a government program.
But if we wanted to go batshit retarded, we could have Monaca pull a Sigma on the moon and research a way to shift into another timeline because she's tired of this world and wants to fuck up a different one.
Joseph Flores
Only Izuru was willing
Nathan Gray
Best thing about this is how Toko is actually the least revolting-looking.
Nicholas Adams
We've only had two games a spinoff in the space of six years and the million LN/manga adaptations are something all remotely popular Japanese media is subjected to so I wouldn't worry about the franchise being milked yet.
Benjamin Taylor
>Celeste >te Kys.
Jayden Foster
> there will never be Another Episode 2 where Hot Wheels (before getting put in a wheelchair and neck snapped) and Izuru (after ditching the Despair sisters) go around and gather up the Despair kids for the purposes of further mind hacking experiments
Dylan Lopez
One timeline exists where the time machine is real. I'm sure of it!
