See TESO is free this weekend

>see TESO is free this weekend
What the hell, why not, I'll try it
>57gb

Jesus christ Bethesda, control your bloat.

Its a modern MMO.

Buy a bigger harddrive you fucking cheapskate.

Skyrim Special Edition is less than 15gb, Guild Wars 2 is only like 27gb, why is this game so enormous?

To be fair, MMO's are always that big. Go install FFXIV or WoW.

Is it worth installing for the free weekend?

I bought it last year and played maybe an hour. I couldn't get into it. I'm not sure if that's just me not enjoying MMO's anymore, or if the game is trash.

ffxiv is only 30ish gb

Because it has most of Tamriel as opposed to just one province

The assets for that take up a lot of fucking space

The Game is fucking huge user and it has good graphics for an MMO. Also every NPC is voiced which is probably the biggest factor in the size of this game

>why is this game so enormous?
Uncompressed 7.1 surround sound audio in 15 different languages.

It's much bigger than Skyrim, and it's an MMO.

>Is it worth installing for the free weekend?
yes
>Is it worth $10 on steam?
yes
>Is it worth more than $10?
ehh...
>Is the the dlc worth getting
only if you have done everything in the base game and want more.
>Is it jewy as fuck with the cash shop?
not as bad as other games in the genre.

Do you get a free month buying the game or do you have to also buy a sub?

Is there any method of getting free play time like with WoW tokens?

>have 4 TB hard drive space across 2x2TB drives
>fills faster and faster these days
>need to buy another 2TB drive just for new games

I've tried cleaning but I'm a goddamn packrat. All of my porn is so hard to find I don't wanna delete it at the risk of not being able to find it later and a lot of my movies are the same way. It's getting harder and harder to pirate some stuff these days.

Yep, so much shit is voiced in that game for reason.
>starting dungeon is voiced by some big hollywood actor any you will never hear him again

There are no mandatory subs. Once you buy the base game you can play it for as long as the servers stay up. The One Tamriel version (base game) doesn't come with the DLC, but even without it the game is huge and you are not actually locked out of the DLC gear (can still trade for it), just the DLC areas are locked out.

There is a premium sub program. If you buy into it you get a few bonuses (extra exp, gold, storage space) and access to all the dlc without paying for it.

It's buy to play. No subscription needed.

Damn, that actually sounds tempting now.

>bethshit game without mods

TRASH

>shitposting

I thought people here only like tes games for the waifu sex mods.

I played the base game and the world is serious like 10-20 times larger than Skyrim.

With DLC it may even be more.

It's also not just empty maps it's filled with little details and items.

Ive literally never installed a sex mod on any TES game. The ones that do don't actually like TES in the first place most of the time.

That being said ESO is only published by Bethesda, it's developed by Zenimax Online Studios..

Is it worth getting?

I don't think Toddler Howard is involved in anyway so probably.

>this game only has four classes

Is that right?
That seems like a tiny amount of classes for an MMO

>tfw you friend wants to play Aldmeri dominion instead of the cool factions

the game is actually flexible in what builds you can do from what I hear

Each class is highly customizable. There are plenty of skills and builds you can do.

Are there even any good MMOs left now?

WoW is shit.

Final Fantasy XIV is boring as fuck and a dress-up simulator.

Base game is going for 6$ in my country, with gold edition or whatever going for ~25$

Is it worth getting at this price?

1.5TB HDD
2*250gb SSDs

And im not even trying to spend money on disk space.
Plus im not even using the HDD for games at all.

You are a textbook poorfag.

Good luck with the download. There are no mirrors and their launcher's download speed is impossibly slow.

I have a 4tb harddrive.

That doesn't mean I can't complain about games being excessively huge.

Stop downloading CP then you sick fuck.

except TESO has a perfectly good reason to be that huge.

Titanfall or COD doesnt.

>check my skyrim mod folder
>600gb

>Install it
>Fight the first enemy
>Realize how bad the combat is
>Quit
>Uninstall

Bethesda didn't develop this game.
Nobody corrected OP this whole time.
Everybody ITT is newer than me.
