That game is total fucking garbage though. There's a reason they are trying to drum up support for it by making it free for a short while, won't work.

It requires a mandatory twitch login to even play.

For the twitch integration, people spam chat and shit happens on stream like HEY HERE'S A WACKY POWER UP FOR EVERYONE, or HEY, EVERYONE NOW HAS CANCER FINISH THE MATCH BEFORE YOU DIE, or WE GAVE EVERYONE DRUGS AND NOW THE GAME IS IMPOSSIBLE TO WATCH AS THE BITRATE HAS GONE TO SHIT FROM THE CAMER AND COLORS CONSTANTLY SHIFTING.

Doesn't help the game isn't actually any fun at all to play.

It's probably their attempt to see if they can get it popular enough to see their game on the top twitch list frequently so more people see it and buy it.

I wonder if it has something to do with that truck game where the devs have the ability to fuck with the players/streamer.

Yeah thats what I was thinking too. Not staged as in the devs weren't actually there but just like, they talked to him and planned it all out ahead of time.

There's integrated streaming and it just does the same anti-grav and same text to every streamer.
