Oh yea also if you use an ide then you're definitely fucked, Buck up and get down in the command line. Start creating makefiles and using gcc. Ideally learn gdb as well, that part is probably unnecessary but it will help you long term.

I learned about pointers the first day of my first c class. I think one could argue that it is a fundamental part of the c/c++ paradigm, and without pointers you don't understand diddly squat of the language.

Honestly I'm not the best source on that; I did a modicum of Web back when ruby on rails was popular but I got out of the Web space a while ago.

I know people who have legitimately had success with wix making basic sites, so without trying to shill I guess all I could even try to recommend is them. But there are probably many better editors out there. Maybe buy Dreamweaver or whatever that's called if that's still used I actually don't know.

I once used front page a number of years ago and that was pretty fine too
