ok
No they don't. Name one (5) good star trek game.
I want a Deep Space 9 FPS RPG in the style of Fallout New Vegas where you're a Courier-like being who can choose to aid the Dominion, Federation, Bajorans, Cardassians, or say fuck it and become the new glowing baseball in the sky
Thank you for making me realize this will never happen OP
Sounds like dogshit.
Only Star Trek style game that should be made is an in-depth modern starship captain simulator which will never happen.
If I could make an effort to quantify the degree of wrong and bad taste varying in orbit around your vacuumous maw, it would be akin to tempting fate at programming a self-sentient AI tasked with comprising infinite number generation
The numbers would weave a pattern that, if laid from one point to the next in a linear fashion, would pierce the outer window of the expanding universe and achieve existence beyond the limits of understanding.
In this realm, there would be one thing at the center, one glimmering line of truth
ur a faget
I honestly can't believe someone can have such horrible taste. It actually baffles me that you want a shitty FPS game in the star trek universe with tacked on RPG mechanics.
It's disgusting.
Anyone else noticed how since they rebooted the Star Trek setting there hasn't been a single good game released? There was just that one shitty TPS and that's it.
Star Trek doesn't lend itself to modern gaming sensibilities anymore. Old Star Trek games were designed with their core audience in mind, aka super nerds who appreciate all the complexities of the star trek universe and the hard science/politics.
That shit just doesn't sell anymore, and attempts to make star trek action games are pretty much guaranteed to be terrible.
It baffles me that DS9 is the best narrative for the Star Trek vessel in the entire series, and it's about sticking in a central hub
Why don't you put that in your runabout and warp it
I agree that DS9 is the best star trek series.
That has nothing to do with a star trek FPS being a terrible idea.
Elite Force was good though
Best moments of show were full of action and the one on one character development inbetween
It's a perfect fit whether you want to admit it or not
They made a DS9 TPS and it was pretty fucking mediocre so I doubt an FPS would be much better
Also why would I want to play any Star Trek game where I can't see my sweet uniform
>Best moments of show were full of action
No.
I agree that some of the best moments were character moments, but that goes with pretty much any Star Trek. Action in Star Trek can only ever be described as adequate. It's all the politics, motivations, and the stakes at hand surrounding the action that's actually good.
>Star Trek FPS
>Horrible
ELITE FORCE AND ELITE FORCE 2 SAY UR WRONG
CHECKMATE FAGGOT
25th anniversary
judgment rites
a final unity
klingon honor guard
starfleet command 2
klingon academy
elite force 1
bridge commander
In Cardassian suvrival horror games it is known you will die horribly from the start.
The fun is in finding out how.
I miss when late night Sup Forums actually had long lasting star trek threads.
Oldfags drop off more and more as the years go on
Can only remember them, not revive them
How is Bridge Commander? Is it fairly in-depth?
Does it have voice commands?
No
