Which game is better?

Bump
ALBW by a pretty big margin, IMO.
Minish Cap easily. It tried doing its own thing.
This.
Not that ALBW is bad but it's a reimagining of ALttP
Minish Cap is the worst Zelda game
toon link is an abomination and so are all its games
Your father should have beat you more.
Agred. I loved Tri Force Heroes too.
Minish Cap is better. ALBW was a huge disappointment and a casual, creatively bankrupt cash grab. At least it's painting gimmick was okay.
Ezlo is the best Zelda partner by far.
It would be A Link Between Worlds, if it didn' t ride on ALttP' s cock.
ALBW is a direct sequel to ALttP, I think in Japan it's even named just basically "ALttP 2".
ALBW is better, LTTP formula is too good.
It's not the worst, but I find it pretty underwhelming. The only thing it has over ALBW is a unique map. That's not a small thing, and I think ALBW would have been much better served laying off the ALTTP borrowing, but everything else is mostly on target.
Ultimately ALBW is probably in my top five or six Zelda games. I went into it expecting the worst and was pleasantly surprised.
Minish Cap is overrated as fuck.
It's average at best, even for the 2d games.
Minish Cap has the much better dungeon and world design; the item shop was a massive mistake
this. minish cap also adds to the zelda series' world building where as ALBW just feels completely inconsequential.
>zelda series' world building
>he actually bought into that timeline crap
Nintendo did it to sell their magazine. It's called a legend for a reason, there is no world building.
no shit, but I like to think the minish are why rupees and hearts appear out of nowhere when you cut grass and shit
Fair enough
ALBW was such a bland and forgetable game, I don't underatand the praise it gets.
"the triforce of the gods 2"
Because it's so memorable and exciting and fun.
games which are non-linear are automatically good user, haven't you learned that yet?
I had a greater sense of adventure and exploration in Minish Cap. That being said when I played ALBW I had a fantastic time since it's pretty much a Ruskin of my favorite game in the series with a little extra thrown in.
Maybe it was the fact that I had played and beaten ALTTP so many times and ALBW was just too similar.
Minish cap felt too short,I completed it in a week and 100% it in less than a month
I honestly expected since Sup Forums is packed with children that ALBW would have won.
But people forget minished cap, although having a stupid concept, had some of the best dungeon design in the franchise.
Besides ALBW was just a casual version of ALTTP.
I played Minish Cap when it came out. I still prefer A Link Between Worlds overall.
I wasn't saying children wouldn't have played the minished cap, but children wouldn't have played ALTTP and anybody who's beaten ALTTP won't like ALBW.
LBW is better but cap is still rly gud
>anybody who's beaten ALTTP won't like ALBW.
Wrong again. ALTTP was my first Zelda game and remains my favorite. I still prefer ALBW to TMC. I do wish it borrowed less from ALTTP, though. Especially the map.
Minish Cap, probably my favourite Zelda game altogether. I loved ALBW too, though.
I agree with this. ALBW just felt super easy and shallow.
Early access to items felt really weird in ALBW and unsatisfying.
Jumping in Minish Cap was pretty fucking crazy, boss fight included; but no one gets to use it much since it's gotten at the end of the game.
>played the fucking shit out of Minish Cap
>got to the point that there were like eight dioramas I needed that I couldn't figure out how to get
>kept restarting the game over trying stupid crazy things in every single area at every point in the game to see if there were some time locked secrets I was missing or something
>never did complete the diorama collection
It's going to haunt me forever
ALBW just made me want to play ALttP.
I didn't like that Minish Cap pulled a Majora's Mask and Wind Waker in number of dungeons. But the game is still very good.
Came here to say this. Minish Cap was more original and didn't rely on other games in the series to sell itself as much as ALBW did. I did really love ALBW though.
When I played on the GBA I got all the kinstone fusions no problem, when I played on the 3DS I was somehow missing ONE.
ALBW is better
>Dungeons have way better music/atmosphere in ALBW
>ALBW's Maimai quest is fun and clever the way it uses sound to hint when you are near one. While TMC's kinstones and figurines are boring and tedious.
>Both games are extremely easy, but ALBW has a slight edge for including a hero mode and a guantlet tower
>TMC does have a better overworld simply for the fact that it's original, but ALBW still had a good amount of original indoor/cave areas and enough slight differences that it still felt like a new game
>While TMC had some clever items, they weren't as useful or versatile as the items in ALBW, and they couldn't be upgraded.
>ALBW has an incredible soundtrack, while TMC's soundtrack is a bit below average for a Zelda title
Of course it's so fucking typical that TMC is winning. Sup Forums is literally incapable of putting any amount of thought into ranking Nintendo games beyond the "older = better" meme
>"older = better" meme
>praises a game that's only good because it stripped everything of value from one of the oldest zeldas and added open world gimmicks and casualized it for a modern audience.
Riiiight.
Thanks for proving my point, retard
Same way faglord.
We're not talking about ALBW vs. ALttP, retard. This is about ALBW vs. TMC, and you didn't even address any of the points that were brought up that directly compared the two.
half of Sup Forums probably are too young to have even played GBA games
