FFXIV is the best timesink out there.
The story and characters really start to flesh out after a while, so it helps you over the MMO gameplay if you tend to get tired of that. Try out the free trial, and after that it's only 10 bucks for the game + a month of playtime. You can still quit afterwards if you don't like it.

14 looks really nice if you dont zoom into any of the armors to see the pixelated as fuck textures, but yes 11 has aged a lot better

The story is completely subjective, I agree, but the rest is just a lie. FFXIV has it's fair share of ugly textures, but no way XI is looking any better.

its a vita game, your pc will be able to handle it trust me. The gameplay isn't that bad its just not really PSO, its very action hack and slash and dodge. Its better than most mmos but its not the same as PSO1

You never actually played it, did you? Episode 1 was literally nothing: the episode, and episode 2 only picked up by the second half after chapter 5 and MBDs 2 and 3..

Even PSO fans stopped pretending PSO2's gameplay is bad at this point. It's that much better.

Persona doesn't really have a big raid boss falz form even if he is kind of important to the story. Though Magatsu is a falz like raid boss that isnt actually a Falz

Mother is a failed, stillborn Xion clone that absorbed a Falz and made Phantom Darkers, so technically yeah.

It's pretty cool though Sega made Double and PD's fight harder though when they did a half-assed job with Loser's.

PSO2's gameplay isn't bad but it doesn't feel like a proper evolution of the original battle system. It just feels like a less clunky PSU.

I had my share of fun but I stand by my current statement I have some good memories but after episode 2 the game became a shitshow. Anybody that cared now left for ff14 or some other online game especially those that came from other pso games.

I'm personally waiting for the PSU private server since PSU JP was great.

It's certainly my escape from everything comfy game, I agree. And I play solo.

I'm going to be very sad the day I can't play it anymore, for whatever reason that is. I just really enjoy being in that world. If it were a single player game like XCX i'd still play it every day or two like I do now.

I can go on it doesn't help that they killed that raw scifi theme the series had going even PSU made more of an effort.

It might depend on the server, but the one I played called PSO BB Ultima had that. I remember going back to charactrer creation to switch my player skin to sonic during an event. There's a specific way of doing it in game.

Girl characters may find Rico's glasses or earrings that waste an equipment slot and don't even look good on her or on anything else.

Other than that, you best bet is nude patches.

Assuming that you're playing private, it's definitely possible to have your server enable the dressing room feature but it takes a little database tinkering. The functionality is implemented and in there though, just needs a way to access it.

100% agree on the last 3 though.

You couldn't do dps without good utility. Its true that melee was stronger than it needed to be but all classes played their part compare it to pso2
