Stealth game
>stealth game
>hide in the shadows and shoot at an enemy
>they look around for a minute and go back to walking in circles
>Stealth game
>lights can't be destroyed or turned off.
>stealth game
>hiding in shadows
>"come out, we won't hurt you"
>step out of shadow
>get shot
>stealth game
>enemy is distracted
>still has a detection area because it's not his eyes that are distracted
It must have been my imagination
>perform a non-lethal takedown in a stealth game
>multiple punches/bone-shattering blows/grunts louder than webm thread on /gif/
>no other guards/NPCs notice, even from 5 feet away
>perform lethal takedown
>only the silent whisk of the blade slicing a throat, everything is muffled as fuck
>WHAT WAS THAT NOISE OVER THERE, I BET IT'S THAT GUY WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE LOOKING OUT FOR, OPEN FIRE
> Action Game
> Try to run and gun, enemies kill you in one hit
> Try to carefully snipe enemies, they can leap up to roof tops and combo you to death
> Try to be stealthy and attack them with a knife
> Knife is limited to one use for a stealth kill
> Have to play it as a stealth game avoiding enemies because they're just too fucking strong
Name one game that does this
"It must've been rats. They're into everything."
WOOOW
>arrow literally stuck in head
>"guess it was just the wind"
>plays stealth game
>fires silent weapon
>the second guard nearby somehow fucking heard something
Dishonored.
>generic shoulder chop
>enemy instantly KO'd
>stealth game
>hide in shadows
>enemy pulls out a light source
>stealth game
>stand in shadows
>enemy right in front of you, but he doesn't care because you are in shadows
>game is praised on Sup Forums
>Stealth game
>Hiding in shadows
>Enemy walks in
>You are completely invisible due to the shadows
If I recall Daud (Dishonored) does this if you knock out one of the guards in his room, based Madsen does a really good job voicing that part
>sneaking into somebody's house
>expect them to arrive home while I'm there
>already planning where I'll hide when they come in
>imagine how exciting this would be
>it has never happened in a game yet
>stealth in non stealth game
>Enemy walks up to you and follows you with their head, but they don't attack because their combat AI isn't activated
>sneaking is just you crouched
why would you even make a game like that
it ruins the whole thing
or worse
both get you detected
metro a broke
Silencers also make sound.
>gun still makes a audible PSSSS
>if it goes through the enemy it could hit a wall or a metal object and make a TINK noise
no complaints amigo just git gud fag
I WANNA THROAT FUCK PEARL
>tumblr sjwniverse
>enemy walks in
>turns on light
>sees you
>gg
>enemy walks in
>wants to turn on the lights
>can, all the lamps are broken
>goes straight into alert mode
splinter cell made shadows so comfy
>instantly goes into alert mode
Most security guards and cops are underpayed and lazy as fuck. They would just think there was a surge that blew the breakers or something.
>the game calls it a silencer
>it's a suppressor
They don't make guns silent
>lights are fine everywhere else
>there's broken glass on the floor
surely they'd give at least a half of a fuck on behalf of their immediate safety
>sneaking is just you crouched
who else would you be?
>not just unscrewing the lightbulbs so they can't make a connection but appear fine
>stealth game
>hiding in shadows
>enemy walks in
>he turns around and locks the door
>stealth game
>enemies will replace the light bulb if it's out
Every Elder Scrolls game
>Stealth game
>Hiding in shadows
>Enemy walks in
>"I know you're in here."
>proceed to hide in shadows
>"must have been a rat"
>*goes back to his post*
Name a game that doesn't do that.
>taking the time to screw out hot lightbulbs
also what abt pic related
>Security guard walks into dark room and sees busted glass
>Suddenly gains the senses of a trained assassin and is hunting you down
For once I'd like to see a game where a regular ass security guard doesn't go Rambo and instead runs for a phone and protects that room like a normal person.
I kek'd
well fuck me
Well, it SILENCES the gun, right?
Its like calling a compass a circulator.
This can only end one way.
>he doesn't wear gloves to his break ins
Get the fuck out amateur
But those are unbreakable in video games.
>Shut off power
>Enemy doesn't go into alert mode
>But they do send someone to go turn shit back on
>Take him out
>Radio starts buzzing, demanding why he isn't checking back in
>Enemy goes into alert mode
No it doesn't you twat, it SUPPRESSES a gun, it doesn't silence it. It takes more than a tube of plastic to stop the sound of a gunshot.
that would be ideal, what's really important is that he reacts to the light being out and doesn't just stroll around in the dark while you can convienetly soundlessy walk behind him and take him out(soundlessly as well)
Surpressing a Gun has many ways to be interpreted.
You could have surpressed the impact, shape, function or even the power of a Gun.
But, if you call it a silencer, it references the fact that you are surpressing the sound if the gun directly.
>Stealth game
>Hiding in shadows
>Sneak up on a guard
>Club him/paralyze him
>Just as he is falling over, hear him say "Huh, must've been a rat"
>Sides launch into orbit
>Hit the moon
>The moon explodes on impact sending chunks onto the earth
>Guard begins to get up
>Moon chunk hits part of the building and sends a wooden beam onto the guards head
>Just as he's falling, hear him say "I'm getting jumpy, must've been a shadow"
>Laugh so hard I shoot myself
No gun, regardless if suppressed or not, is completely silent.
>Surpressing
>Surp
What?
>Stealth game
>Gaurds wander around randomly instead of having set patrol routes
Morrowind (at least vanilla) did not have schedules where NPCs would go home at night.
>go for a finisher on the boss
>boss uses a desperation attack that kills both of you
>walks into almost pitch black room
>he should not see broken glass
>but he do
Fucking owl men im sick of it
the worst part is, is that this is going to be screencapped and posted on Sup Forums for years no doubt
No shit.
You are supressing it.
Yeah, yeah.
>enemy patrols intersect so they see each-other every 30 seconds
>take out one guard
>other doesn't get suspicious after 2 minutes
>enemies have severe tunnel vision
>take out a guard while he's standing right next to another guard
>the other guy doesn't notice
>stealth game
>guards wander around randomly
>sneak up to one to take him out
>the second you get behind him he turns around and sees you
>attempts to alert but you KO him, forced in an animation lock
>random other guard turns the corner and sees you because you're still in a shit animation lock

The Thief series
Was the a coast to coast into a spear into a DDT?
Move out of his line of sight you clod
>hiding in plain sight
>just standing right in front of bandit but because I'm hunch over and crouching I'm invisible to him
Skyrim's stealth system is broken as fuck at the later levels.
>play new stealth game
>play through high chaos because lazy and want to churn out a review for free clicks
>fuck stealth
>go around just mindlessly killing
>give a stealth game a 8.5/10
wow dude
