How would you handle an Overwatch campaign mode?

>Multiple campaigns playable with multiple heroes ala Sonic Adventure
>Optional feature that lets you run into other players as enemies if online
>New unplayable side character that eventually becomes playable in single and multiplayer
>Co-op

sounds fun except for the optional online, if I play a campaign I want it to just be a campaign

It wouldn't be generic grunt enemies, but main character confrontations.

Remember sonic adventure 2 when you ran into characters like shadow to fight as sonic? Imagine if Shadow was another player. Of course, it would be completely optional. Especially since there wouldn't always be a chance of someone playing

Campaign mode sounds like it would cost a lot of money to make which means Blizzard will probably never do it.

No unlimited ammo you have to find it and equip it
Survival have to eat and drink
Tetris inventory
equipable items grant non left mouse button ability
Modability that would allow for ENBs and CBBE
Open world

It would be the best game ever created desu.

Just make survival mode where you fight against the Talon mercs (reskins of Soldier:76 with less abilities) or Omnics (Bastion and Zenyatta reskins with less abilities)

Blizzard would have to figure out what the hell they're doing with the lore which probably isn't gonna happen.

Why would Blizzard waste so many resources into something that wasn't designed to be played through a campaign?

You know what you're going to get?

Dr. Junkenstein's brawl mode, but served to you as a narrative like TF2's Mann vs Machine during the Omnic Crisis. It will have unique rewards, a monthly map update, replayability and perks.
