Games about Hellraiser

Do they exist?
Just curious. The idea seems ok. It could work in a game

Platform.... Snes genesis... Does a hellraiser game exist?

Why is Pinhead a woman? Is this some all female cast remake bullshit?

She a cosplay i forgot the name...

Stay on point

I played Terrordrome and i want more

He's a she in the book.

I didn't know this.
So technically a remake should have a female actress
I vote for Eva Green

There's a comic book series where the main female character of the first movie assume the status of arch priest or whatever the pin head was. She gets the pins in the head, but the outfit is different.

Why am I seeing all this female Pinhead bullshit? Anyway, I think Nintendo were going to make a Hellraiser game on the NES, believe it or not.

...

People like to fap to people in costumes

She has pins in her head, though. Whatever. Fuck BDSM culture. Scream is the superior film and Ghostface would whoop Pinhead.

Have seen the movies?
Ghostface is literally Sup Forums

In what way? None of them had foot fetishes or anything. Sup Forums would laugh at every Ghostface killer's taste anyway. Ghostface is always a Jew that only watches slashers. He should expand his horizons. Watch some home invasion, monsters, anything but the same Freddy and Jason bullshit.

The Cenobites are a really scary idea and have great designs, but I don't like the way Clive Barker does horror. Everything of his that I've read or watched has bored me.

Well if somebody remade this movie today they should use superhero masks and make poor jokes about dicks
Aside from that ghostface is a guy Pinhead is a demon. Unfair battle

I might sell my soul for those tits. Holy fuck.

Is Hellraiser kind of like Berserk?

If a teenage girl with no knowledge on cenobites could send Pinhead and friends back to Hell, what makes you think 2 teenagers who know about the cenobites couldn't at least do the same thing?

She would never let you touch her

the godhand in berserk are basically a hellraiser ripoff

pinhead is a boss and unlockable character in portable ops. He's referred to as the anti snake

They are retards, duh

Hellraiser went completely wrong with the sequels and spinoffs. It was never about the puzzle or the Cenobites. The people who do horrendous things are the real monsters. That's what the author was trying to emphasize. But Hollywood and marketers want a generic monster flick series.

The only person Ghostface should fight is Michael Myers.

Why has this series not been rebooted? They remade Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Nightmare on Elm Street, so why not Hellbound Hellraiser?

Hellraiser is about morally corrupt people searching for new heights of depravity inadvertentlysummoning Pinhead and his crew of demons by solving a puzzle box. At first they're content just torturing/mutilating the fuck out of whoever solved the box, but as the movies go on they keep fucking with the rest of the world and killing random people.

Knowing that I'm never going to touch those mammaries is perhaps the greatest torture of all.

Its actually not, its an androgynous, purposefully obscured gender, but considering that clive barker also made the movie, its pretty safe to say its a man

Or will shatner

Or the kid from Home Alone fighting Jason. It solely lies in how much prep time Kevin gets.

>The Thing (2011)
>Robocop (2014)
>still wanting remakes of any kind

That's a good question. A remake today with a slightly increased focus on torture porn and creating cenobites might do pretty well.

> It was never about the puzzle or the Cenobites. The people who do horrendous things are the real monsters. That's what the author was trying to emphasize.

Well yeah. That whole message doesn't really sell to big audiences though. Kinda like how the first SAW compared to its sequels but to a lesser extent. Pinhead is essentially a horror icon because his character design is so good though.

>Pinhead is essentially a horror icon because his character design is so good though.
He's just a zealot that practices extreme sadomasochism with otherworldly powers. He's nobody. A means to an end. A tool that gets the job done. He's essentially a hammer.

Some of the special effects and sci-fi elements in RoboCop were pretty fucking cool.

Exactly. The message Hellraiser is trying to get across doesn't really lend itself to movies though. It would work better as an anthology series. Each episode could be different character studies of people being monsterous.

Because Clive Barker is still alive and likely still owns his creations, or at least gets a say on these things. He's wierd and gay but not necessarily stupid.

Although this is talking out of my ass, since all those shitty Hellraiser sequels exist. Maybe he looked at them and just told the studio to stop it.

Woah, is that darkside Bao-Dur?

>tfw in the last book of the Hellraiser franchise Pinheads basically gets killed by the sky of hell (which is basically stone) falling on him after Satan himself (which Pinhead woke up) decided to fuck off from it

Ah, correction, he signed away the rights after/during making of the first film because he didn't know how successful it would be.

The studio just ran it into the ground, shitty money-losing sequels, they probably are in the position where they see it hasn't made them money but there's no reason to sell it.

>Some of the special effects and sci-fi elements in RoboCop were pretty fucking cool.
I think the mistake was trying to reboot Robocop at all. You can't do it because the original is perfect.

nah they should stop. not everything needs a sequel or spin-off. once you already see the monster or know the gimmick or whatever, then it loses its flavor. Just make a different story. This is why I hate not only American movies but television shows as well. They go on too long and overstay their welcome. Just look at Dexter for example. It should have clearly ended at season 1.

First they were going to do Pinhead vs. Michael Myers and then a remake. Pretty sure both got canned. Hellraiser: Judgement is coming out next year. I don't have much hope for it.

So Elliot Spencer solved the puzzle box and became Pinhead, how come nobody else who solves the box has a good time?

>nah they should stop. not everything needs a sequel or spin-off.

Normally I agree, but I feel as though Hellraiser could be redone well. I'm probably wrong though. I don't even like Barker very much.

>mentioning Revelations

Reported. Deleted. Hidden. Called the cops.

Because he's no longer Elliot Spencer, he's just a priest of hell, stripped of what made him human, just like his leather-bound co-workers.

I think that was a point of one of the movies, forcing Pinhead to remember his past and driving him mad through it. Or something like that.

remake bad films. stay away from the good ones.

The Midnight Meat Train had good potential but was executed poorly.

>Revelations
The Elliot Spencer stuff happens in Hell on Earth

Terraria :^)

Oh fuck. I thought you meant Elliot Roger. I'm going to bed.

1-2 had a fairly rare directing style that got left behind with the 80s though, unfortunately. Even the director himself forgot how to capture it. Only a handful of other movies ever caught the same "bleak timelessness" feeling, and some of those(like the gate) only managed to swing it for a brief part of the film. That literally made the original films, and it can't be outdone.

The only real reason to remake it at this point is for hardcore Barker fans who want a strictly-by-the-book approach. Anything else would be more of the same kind of "i saw this when I was a kid and I can do it better" bullshit that elmstreet, friday, and robboween got.
