Isn't Asura's Wrath basically the exact same thing as every "moviegame" that people complain about? What makes it okay for this game to be a glorified sequence of quicktime events?
Isn't Asura's Wrath basically the exact same thing as every "moviegame" that people complain about...
nobody bat an eye at asuras wrath because it wasnt a popular game.
you should know by now that Sup Forums mainly shittalks on games that are popular or are exclusive to ps4.
The cutscene parts are actually enjoyable (until about halfway through the game), and not just shit that makes developers look like wannabe movie directors.
>What makes it okay
Maybe you just think that because you're arriving years after the fact but no one thought Asura's Wrath was okay, it was constantly derided for being a QTE fest.
Except it's basically just a movie since the gameplay is just quicktime events. What does "look like wannabe movie directors" even mean when the entire game is movies anyway?
No one ever said it was a good game, it's just a really cool animu.
it was a cool movie that's why it's k
It was fun.
This
Difference is shit like TLAS gets praised for being a mediocre game and having a good story.
Because it doesn't act like it's anything more than it is.
An anime sandwich with a basic beat em up and actually well done QTEs as the bread. It's a novelty for sure and that's exactly why they don't want to make a sequel. They told their story. It's over. His daughter smiled.
