Hi Sup Forums. I worked for ubisoft. I've been working on the new Ghost Recon since 2014. Ask me stuff about it/Far Cry 4/general Ubi shit.
Hi Sup Forums. I worked for ubisoft. I've been working on the new Ghost Recon since 2014...
Is recon any good?
Can we customize player characters? Are female faces as ugly as they were in Division?
Not OP but I'm pretty sure you can customize them.
currently no, the mechanics are wrong, the missions are all repetitive(4 types of side missions in which you have to do the same stuff), open world meaning that you can go to any area of the map, kill its boss, rinse and repeat untill you destroy 3 of the 4 branches, kill sueno, GG WP *credits*. The AI is fucked. Retarded as shit. The weapons and upgrades? they feel the same, you get a few scopes and underbarrels(5-10 each) that you can apply to most of the weapons, the car physics are garbage(remember the skyrim horse? meet the Wildlands bike).
Even uglier. They look like manly feminist bitches. No long hair. Bald head available(yes, for females). At least the clothes are awesome, you can build up some pretty cool outfits if you spend enough time in the character builder
How's the optimization on PC.
Probably it doesn't exist. It's Ubisoft after all user. Also i have question for OP. Do you know or dev team have knowledge that this game will completly blow and will sell like shit after The Division?
>sell like shit after The Division
What?
Not OP, but TD is the best selling game of 2016, and it's a completely different game.
can we expect a worthy single player for you know those of us that don't have a social life??? what sort of state is the pc port? what gpu will we need for high/1080p
Gonna need some proof, friendo.
Aren't those antidepressant bills getting a bit too much to handle?
OK-ish. Will require 16 GB of RAM, when i left they had an issue with the grenade explosions. You pop 3-4 grenades in the same place and the explosion flames appear a few seconds after they explode. Sometimes they didn't appear at all. They might fix it, but judging on the game state(nothing was on point, some stuff wasn't even finished) they won't focus on it. I didn't left long ago, but judging on the pace of progress, the game will launch on march 7 unfinished and unoptimised.
Are you a White man? How many mea culpa and apologie for being privileged do you have to do during your workday?
Oh and why does Ubisoft won't make cool Single Player game with Clancy's brand and keeps pushing those ,,Online Experiences''? There are tons of possibilities for great setting to game like that. It's fucking stupid and where's Splinter Cell?
Is the next Far Cry set in the Wild West?
> Even uglier. They look like manly feminist bitches. No long hair. Bald head available(yes, for females)
Well aren't they supposed to be like the 1% of the special forces, as in pretty fucking jacked up? Can't have some prissy princess cosplaying a real operator.
Division was ok, but after the Watch Doge 2 failure, we all know whats gonna happen.
>antidepressant bills
Ubisoft is not an american company user
Judging by what you wrote in this post you didn't work on Ghost Recon or any other videogame for that matter, now piss off.
>tfw ubisoft keeps raping the fuck out of Tom Clancy games
RIP
Ubisoft is a shit dev nowadays, one of the reasons AAA games are such shit and have been for so long.
as if it require 16gb ram even in an early alpha state. chat shit
Literally only good game from that franchise was Ghost Recon, and that all. So who cares?
Yes. And you'll have to kill 3 bosses, 2 male 1 female. They're planning a giant map.
How's Assassin's Creed 2017/Osiris coming along?
And right now you can buy it for 10$ because playerbase is so small. I didn't said that game itself was shit and it sold like shit but AFTER what happened with TD players will just skip this one(the game was hyped as fuck and ended as grind fest and it started bo ger really boring after 6-7 hours of playing because all you did was the same shit all over again-just like OP described missions in this one). Explain to me how's both those game are ,,completly different''? Only the setting is not the same other mechanics are basically the same(ok there will be vehicles so that's something new) but gameplay is basically the same for what ive seen.
>Far Cry
>Wild West
And you've lost everyone
>Splinter Cell
>Rainbow Six
>Bad games
Do you know anything about a Splinter Cell game ?
It's a military game, aside from that, they have nothing in common.
>And right now you can buy it for 10$ because playerbase is so small
Where?
And how does the size of the playerbase affect the price?
I think he was talking specifically about Ghost Recon games.
Is my initial reaction of wildlands being MGSV with coop correct?
2017? Man, you are optimistic as fuck. They didnt even send it to the testers.
The setting has been leaked before. Just wait for the teasers/official announcement.
The playerbase affects the price because its fucking only multiplayer game and without them it would be dead. I would down the price to bump player numbers also especially when there's new DLC coming out to gather new ones. But you didn't said why they don't have nothing in common meanwhile they look exactly the same but as i said with other setting.
What do you mean by 2017 is optimistic as fuck? The game's been in development since January 2014, it's been 3 years. Besides that vague statement, you wanna throw some details our way?
Wow I can't wait to climb something to reveal parts of the map and the copy and pasted open world bullshit activities located in the area.
Can't wait totally not tired of this.
>sale
>The playerbase affects the price because its fucking only multiplayer game and without them it would be dead
False, the sales affect it.
Call of Duty games on PC are dead and they are almost all at $60 on PC.
>he actually cares about any of the 3 annual assassins creed releases
>Wow I can't wait to climb something to reveal parts of the map
That's not in the game.
>annual
check yer facts
>Annual
> Bald head available(yes, for females)
whoopdeeshit?
They stopped doing that, the new big thing is appealing to Sup Forums
Is Salar de Uyuni in the game?
this is fake as fuck. Dem 16gb when consoles use 8.
Is the management as huge of a clusterfuck as it appears from the outside and the reason for everything Ubi produces being so inoffensively bland and flavorless?
The impression I have of Ubisoft over the years is of a company where hundreds of managers manage other managers and any creative labor is destroyed through endless focus group testing
Well, the game was in development since 2014, but the devs fucked up big time. Some critical features could not be implemented and they had to change the engine and remake it. That's all i know, i didnt work on it. It's gonna be a little different than its predecessors, i can assure you that.
Every texture in the game currently has half the resolution on consoles. Yes, they look blurry, and the game couldn't reach more than 20 fps.
So what it's a sale? I didn't said you're wrong. Playerbase affects the price in some way and the sales affect playerbase itself. CoD's are dead on release on PC since Modern Warfare 2.Original Modern Warfare is still going cracked and it has more daily players than BO,BO2 and the others have but that's mainly because you can play MP on cracked servers.
Lol if you fall for this. dude talks like a Sup Forumstard and not a developer
>OP can't name specifics about the already leaked AC game
>His Wildlands info is generic info that any retard can infer by watching youtube gameplay
Fake as shit
is it a bigger spanish speaking version of the Division?
if i liked the Division will i like this?
AC is developed in another studio, different city. Like i said, i didnt work on it, and all the info i have is from randomly chatting with a dev on skype.
Also, bet you couldn't find any video in which the player has an RPG on youtube, can you? Or any of the scraped areas? like Cayuba, which has been cut in half and called Monte Punco?
Do people working at Ubi really think they make good games/are cool/know what gamers like? Did you really think it was funny when you put memes into Watch Dogs games?
Please tell me about Splinter Cell, it's the only ubisoft franchise I still care about
From the sound of this, this dude worked at Ubsoft Paris. Ubisoft Montreal made Watch Dogs 2
>AMA with no proof
lol
Fare enuf, but the first question remains unanswered.
Where can I buy it for 10?
ubisoft is shit. its the bollywood in the gaming world. games can be alright but it will never be as good as hollywood crap.
>the missions are all repetitive(4 types of side missions in which you have to do the same stuff), open world meaning that you can go to any area of the map, kill its boss, rinse and repeat untill you destroy 3 of the 4 branches
So every ubisoft open world game ever?
Are there any non-diverse (white males [actual males]) people working in Ubi yet? If so, do they whisper between one another conspirationally about how the fact that Ubi started losing money and being called out even by their most die hard fans at about the same time it started going "diverse" may not be an absolute coincidence? Does anyone complain that a lot of incompetent fucks work at Ubi because muh diversity?
>worked for ubisoft
So Redstorm?
Do they still have free beer on fridays?
Did they ever find out who kept drawing dicks on the chalkboard wall?
Is the place still riddled with Rabbids?
How much of the remaining development budget get slashed on games as soon as the pre-order quota is met?
>Did they ever find out who kept drawing dicks on the chalkboard wall?
A hero?
This is a real question. Since Far Cry is going to do a Spaghetti western, will delay it to avoid Red Dead?
OP logging off. Don't buy it if you're not a big fan of the series, expect some bugs and shitty optimisation. Launch date is coming, game is half finished. They needed about 6 more months. Also, btw, not sure if it has been leaked before, there's gonna be a PVP mode, called Adversarial, played in small points of interest of the big map, but it will come after launch.
The devs just wanna get paid, the big bosses just want profit and to not get bought by vivendi. Some devs listen to the players, but some just wanna implement their ideas and don't take anything else into account. If the lead LD wants a lake in the desert, the game will have a lake in the desert.
Splinter cell: Division 2 in early brainstorming development.
sorry about that. Won't post any personal data due to obvious reasons, and i was too scared to take pictures of my work screen, because everything's monitored.
Even better. There's a map with 6 main missions that you must do to kill the boss, and in each mission the only thing you have to do is fight santa blanca and destroy submarines. Then you get to the boss who's in the last house of a complex, you have to grab him, fly a heli and thats it. Most of the missions are similar.
yea, and nobody says anything if we all contribute in buying a bottle of whiskey.
The dicks stopped all of a sudden, but can't forget Rafael's face whenever he saw them. Rabbids are still there, i think...
Please answer this
that's made by rockstar, not ubi
So Prince od Persia is fucking dead, isn't it?
Also, how do they plan to make AssCreed "new and fresh" for the inevitable sequal? More hookshot mechanics?
shit, guess you meant about the competition between the 2. Currently the game is set to launch in 2018, will be delayed by technical development issues that happen everytime. I have no idea if they're trying to avoid competition with rockstar, right now they just wanna get the game done. I know the response is kinda shitty, but the future of the game is not fully set.
OP said the next Far Cry is the Wild West, I'm assuming they would delay to avoid Red Dead
