i've been out of the loop. Have 3ds games finally been cracked and are fully available for download as ROMS and do they have working flash carts?

Also, I'm actually looking forward to SMM 3ds.

SMM is Minecraft-tier autism.

isnt there no online for the 3ds version? seems shitty desu

you can download 3ds games straight from nintendos servers by means of the freeshop if your 3ds is hacked. flash carts are a waste of money because you can hack your 3ds for free.

providing you werent dumb enough to update to the latest firmware

how so?

Nothing is minecraft tier.

i'm sure i do have the latest firmware as I was completely unaware of this.

Also, doesn't 3DS do the same thing as the xbox 360 now that it wont allow you to access the store unless you update to latest firmware?

SMM online is shit anyways
there are ways to easily circumvent that

>developed by slopes
>features no slopes

has anyone been banned yet for getting the games for free?

Some retards got banned for going online before the launch date with leaked versions of Pokemon. But for just free games, no.

Still no multiple checkpoints to make overly difficult levels tolerable.

3DS version can download maps made on the Wii U. You just can't upload/share 3DS made maps without using streetpass.

I see...

>Still no multiple checkpoints to make overly difficult levels tolerable.

Wii version has the option for checkpoints. 3ds version doesn't? [citation needed]

gee brilliant, because everyone lives in tokyo or new york and can get street passes easily

You can use homepass to share with people online but it's still fucking stupid that you can't just upload maps.

homepass.info/

You can have a main area and a sub area connected with pipes. You can have one checkpoint in each for a total of two per course. I'm sure the 3DS version will keep it that way.

>tfw just want CEMU with online support
>got this

>3DS version can download maps made on the Wii U.
The 3DS version will only let you play recommended courses and 100 Mario Challenge (with no costumes to unlock). You can't search by course ID.

could have sworn I've played levels with more than two checkpoints.

If you alternate between them, a pair of checkpoints can register repeatedly. There are some courses that use this technique as a sort of pseudo-save for pink coins.

The people who make overly difficult levels wouldn't even bother putting multiple checkpoints.
it has checkpoints
play and download

Here's a good one that I played a few weeks ago. I had a lot of fun working on that record.

Why bother? You'd get like 5 plays total either way and no one would care if it wasn't a music level.

When's the release date? I'm pretty excited for this. I always thought Mario Maker would have been better on 3ds.

Who the fuck even cares? Are people really going to lick Nintendo's asshole and love it?

December 2.
Despite what most would say ("no online!!!!") yeah, it looks like it's better on 3DS. Probably because Wii U is so shitty...

>cant share levels
>can only access some wii u levels

literally trash

I updated to the latest firmware. Fuck.

youtube.com/watch?v=9zhE5Sb45O4

It looks pretty chuggy when there's a lot of shit on screen.

then make levels that aren't trash
It's super mario maker, not super mario player

For what fucking purpose?

>"For Nintendo 3DS" in the title
what's the point of that?

didn't the Wii U version have similar lag issues with a lot of stuff on screen or was it not as bad?

not that we can even say for sure, 3ds version isnt even out yet

I never wanted to hack my 3DS before now.

The Wii U version would occasionally stutter slightly or chug in extreme cases, especially when glitches were used to overload tight spaces with objects. The 3DS version looks like it chugs much more easily.

>The 3DS version looks like it chugs much more easily.
By which I mean that it apparently performs worse and succumbs to chugging more easily.

>Homepass.
>Because people want to switch their MAC 20 times a day just to play online.

You think Nintendo would have learned after all the stupid fucking Ad-hoc/local shit the DS and PSP had that rarely saw use in the U.S.
