First 4 episodes were perfect, but they completely dropped the ball with the finale.
How to fix it (imo)

The Sacrifice Chloe ending was originally supposed to end with Chloe going into a coma after being shot. The final scene would be Max sitting by her hospital bed, leaving us with a slightly hopeful ending

Having 90%+ of the photographs taken in your picture book causes Jefferson to rifle through your portfolio and then have a melt-down and shoot himself when he discovers you are a better photographer than him.

Isn't Life is Strange 2 in the talks? I hope so, call me a hipster fagit but damn I loved the soundtrack and songs. It really helped make the game for me.

same. just wish the ending didn't suck. honestly they put all the effort into 'sacrifice chloe' ending. in 'sacrifice arcadia bay' they just fucking drive off. the city is barely damaged. we only see two dead bodies. why do max and chloe display such apathy when that's all max did the entire game? don't they want to find out who if chloe's family survived or if max's friends are still alive?

- remove the shit where max time travel through photos
- she can only rewind X amount of times per episode
- remove the tornado shit
- make the game a more intricate murder mystery, use the buildup of the prescott family and more stuff where chloe pieces together the game through the bulletin board
- other students/teachers are more than photo ops; a select few are in on it (which changes every playthrough) while most have no idea what's going on, you can recruit these to your dream team veronica mars/nancy drew crew, whichever ones you pick changes the story.

The only time Chloe was tolerable was her alternate reality. There, she has a reason to be a whiny cunt with a victim complex, yet she's positive and upbeat. In the game, her life isn't all that bad, but she literally cannot stop complaining about everything. That fucking decision to kill her alternate self was 3 million times more difficult that deciding whether to save her or the city.

The major plot points were spoiled for me, but by the end I chose Chloe simply because I'd be pissed if I was Max.

Given the power to turn back time for no explainable reason, use it, and get lectured for it while simultaneously pushed to fix everything by using it again.

I was confused when alternate Max was talking about how Max used her powers to become popular and win friends. Turns out I just skipped a lot of dialogues where she does that.

That being said I rented the game a few weeks ago and have been obsessed ever since. Hoping it goes on sale for black Friday.
