Reminder that the only version of Final Fantasy V and VI available on PC are the ones with the horrible redone graphics. It isn't even HD, just twice the resolution of the snes. It's still low resolution and scaled horribly, making the entire affair utterly pointless.
The original versions of III, IV, V, and 6 will never be sold again. Remakes only.

What we really need are ROM hacks of IV, V and VI for SNES but it adds all of the GBA bonus stuff (and in the case of IV, PSP), is uncensored and uses the GBA translation as much as the text limits will allow.

As for resolution, it's not like giving up 256x224 for 240x160 is a bad deal for all the content added in the gba version.

Just download the Woolsey retranslated + bug fixes patch for 6, it fixes the translation without making the script as fucking boring as the GBA version's was.

What's wrong with the remake version? The higher resolution makes the enemy sprites look better and there's a mod to remove the bilinear filter on the characters

It's both. It's a mobile game with a resolution something around the 400's, being scaled to 1080p.
Why can't people port the GBA versions to SNES?
What I mean is making ROM hacks which add the newer translations and extra content from the GBA versions and add them to the SNES.
They will literally be the best versions.
