Well, Sup Forums?

Well, Sup Forums?

cbbe stormcloacs have sideboobs armors
cbbe imperials have underboob midriff armors
can't decide

Stormcloaks are cucks

I'll say what everyone's thinking:if you backed the storm cloaks you basically ensure a thalmor win.

Love how Sup Forums claims this is the worst game ever but yet can't stop talking about it everyday even a decade later

Yeah, not wanting a bunch of elf to wander on your land imposing their laws sure is the definition of being a cuck
Meanwhile, the Imperials who host them in their capital and attend parties at their Embassy sure arent cucks

Stormcloaks, the elves are subhuman and need to be eradicated.

Stormcloaks because I don't really need to worry about them loosing when they are backed by the dragon borb

Only gays and trannies become imperials.

>T. Men in skirts

The Empire obviously. Stormcloaks aren't good for the endgame. They wouldn't be able to survive long in the world stage. Not only do they not have a stable power foundation, but trying to participate in politics with all the other countries and factions would be disastrous for them. They're a dog chasing a car, they wouldn't know what to do if they actually caught it.

Where's the option where I don't play this shit game?

I'm not a fucking retard, so Empire.

However, I also always kill the Emperor, as I feel his death and an Empire win happening within the same year is the best way to move things along to beating the Thalmor.

House Telvanni.

...

Prove to me that the Empire will start a war with the Aldmeri Dominion in the next 15 years. Prove to me that the Stormcloaks and Hammerfell could together take on the entire Aldmeri Dominion and win.

Hammerfell did alright on their own, plus this time they'd have retard-strength Nords and a walking, shouting demigod on their side.

I really, really don't like it when people like you and that poster who have only ever played Skyrim try and talk about lore.

>MUH HAMMERFELL BEAT THE ELVES LOL

They had a fuck ton of legion troops still there, and had a shit ton of Empire spies doing the word for them.

Don't be so fucking stupid, and actually read the source material you dumb shit.

Empire.

I have been helping them since Daggerfall. I'm not gonna stop now.

>Stormcloaks at the beginning because they failed to write Hadvar as remotely trustworthy in the opening scene

>Meet Ulfric formally
>Oh no, it's retarded

>Go to Imperials
>Actually, we're going to kill all of the Thalmor and had a great plan until Stormcloaks fucked it up

It's not even a choice.

>the threat of another succession war and huge instability is a good thing for beating the Thalmor

>Stormcloaks

If you're a fucking idiot, sure.

You can only choose Stormcloak if you ignore the following

>General says at the end of civil war they're going to have another war to beat the Thalmor. Hell even the Thalmor themselves refer to the war as "the first war"
>That humans outbreed elves 10:1 and are FAR more fertile, meaning this stalemate buys is VERY beneficial for us, in terms of breeding and creating new troops.
>That the longer the Thalmor attempt to destroy towers, and get fucked (Hammerfall, High Rock, etc etc) the more people will band against them.
>THAT NO TALOS BAN WAS ENFORCED UNTIL ULFRIC STARTED BEING A RETARD

HOW THE FUCK IS THIS EVEN A PROBLEM AT THIS POINT? Stormcloaks are for actual, literal retards who have not read or listened to fucking ANYTHING in the game world.

Yes I mad. I share a board with retards, and you've now dragged me down to your level so now I'm a fucking retard.

You stupid cucck,The imperials just say they are gonna ban Talos worship but don't enforce it, that's why you see the priest in Whiterun spreading talos worship, the imperials are told to ignore it. This is so they don't have to fight until their army is in full strength to battle the altmer dominion who breed and a lesser rate than humans.

Those "legion troops" were discharged from the Legion in order to fight in Hammerfell, though.
And nowhere does it say that they returned to the Empire itself.

>retarded installment of a popular series gets porn mods by the thousands

I wonder why.

Yeah like that preacher in Whiterun who gets locked up

Oh wait that never fucking happens

Like the many temples of Talos in nearly every city get destroyed?

Oh wait, that never fucking happens. Even Windhelm keeps its temple when under Legion control.

TALOS BAN WAS ONLY ENFORCED DUE TO ULFRIC GOING FULL RETARD

ULFRIC IS LITERALLY THE REASON THALMOR JUSTICARS WERE DISPATCHED THERE

YOU
DUMB
CUNT

And yet it's gonna be canon because all the kids went "fuck the empire xD stormcloacks FTW!"

This.

The imperials are the only ones who think forward and actually have brains. That said, I'd be sympathetic to the Nords despite being idiots, since it is their land and they would become (rightfully) xenophobic after a lengthy and horrific war.

I fucking hate redguards on the other hand. They are complete traitors to the empire and ditched them when they needed them most. How is letting the White-Gold tower fall honourable, a trait everybody says they have. They are legitimate dumb shits.
At least about half of the nords stop support the empire...

The imperials are weak fags in skirts. Stormcloaks are the real men of skyrim.

*still support the empire

Bethesda wrote Ulfric as a selfish cunt. They obviously wanted the Imperials to be the "right" choice. In the end, I had to go with the empire because genociding the Thalmor is more imporant than getting darkies out of Windhelm. A united empire is the only hope of rebuilding the military strength required.

This thread is fucking retarded. Holy shit.

>muh stormcloaks

1) Thalmor were only sent to monitor Skyrim after Ulfric started acting a cunt. There was no ban of Talos enforced in any city, or hold until then.

2) Humans outbreed elves, so a stalemate or truce buys us more time to replenish our army (which was on the verge of being wiped out) so this way, we survive, and win the next war in a fucking landslide

3)
>but muh hammerfell beat da elves by demselves xD
No, you stupid cunt. They had a fuck ton of legion soldiers there, and had info being poured in from Legion sources constantly, not to mention their entire intelligence network at their disposal. AND EVEN THEN, they beat them to a fucking stalemate, and the Thalmor withdrew. It was not a win or defeat, they just BARELY managed to hold their own WITH legion help.

Seriously, how fucking stupid are you Stormcloak cunts?

The real question that will forever remain unanswered is

What becomes of the Dragonborn? Where do we fit into all of this? Are we just doomed to sit in our gilded houses, stewing elsweyr fondue and enchanting every iron dagger in Skyrim for the rest of our lives?

>That said, I'd be sympathetic to the Nords despite being idiots, since it is their land

Were they sympathetic to the Snow Elves?

Nords are the niggers of the Elder Scrolls series. Even more so than actual literal niggers.

>ELVES IN MUH CITY, REEEEEE
YOU CHOSE TO LET THEM IN, YOU STUPID CUNT.

This is why I hate the redguards

It's funny because the Stormcloaks are more inclusive towards women.

Redguards are absolutely okay, if you can ignore them being black.

>muh "hurr dey could worship one of the more prolific gods of mankind and the empire, jus do it underground u fuckign racists"
Pretty sure if the mudslime dominion won a war against the states and forced the U.S. government to outlaw the KJV in favor of the Quran you can damn well bet they wouldn't all be perfectly content.

After I did the civil war questline from both sides, I don't bother with it anymore. I don't like the changes to the game world and it just seems more interesting to me to run around being a powerful person that refuses to take a stake in the war all around him.

>Comparing a fictional universe with its own set of backstory, lore and rules to the real fucking world (which you don't even fully understand as you're retarded)

Kill yourself you retarded moron.

For the Empire, James.

>Were they sympathetic to the Snow Elves?
They were, before said elves went all genocidal on them.

You first.

ALRIGHT THEN KIDDO, BUCKLE UP.

/thread

Was that before or after the Nords brought their bullshit Raider-Honor proto-culture they tried to escape from in Atmora to the Snow Elven populace?

Keep in mind the snow elves were the first to attack, right back at the start..

So why should they be sympathetic to those gay cunts? They deserve to live underground.
Also, by right of conquest, yes, Skyrim does belong to the nords.

As for why they tend to keep the beast races outside their cities, well, at least elves tend to be productive members of society and there isn't as much cultural differences or stigma as the beast races have (ie. Skooma, thievery, etc.).
And a lot of nords don't mind the elves, it's mainly just the stormcloaks, which as I said before have the right to feel that way about them.

Long before.

>Keep in mind the snow elves were the first to attack

Well, yeah. Bunch of Nordic shits show up in my land and start building gay mud huts, I'm kicking the cunts out.

Nobody asked the Nords to invade and settle there. They sure as fuck were not given permission, nor did they seek it.

Fuck even the dark elves ASKED to live in Windhelm, for christ sakes.

Dude you are really getting butthurt about all this. Take a break, go back to watching your interracial porn.

Or you could look at this logically and objectively, taking away there skin colour from all this, and recognise their race as stubborn, honourless cunts and traitors

Both sides are shit.

One is cucked into Oblivion, actively unravelling mankind at the hands of elf kikes, and even though right by authority, is pretty much butt-fuck useless, and of course, had you grouped in with rebels and tried to have you executed.

And the other is like the white sabbat, literally in the wrong and right at the same time, but in hndsight and future prospects, utterly fucking fucked.

The only winners of Skyrimjob are the Elves.

THALMOR MASTERRACE NIGGA

>go back to watching your interracial porn.

Alright, gonna fire up a Breton doing a Nord doggystyle. Lel.

So, which one of these are the empire? Because both kinda apply to the Stormcloaks.

Reminder that Ulfric Stormcloak is a faggot coward and is the sole reason the Thalmor are even operating in Skyrim. His little bitch fit not only caused the deaths of untold numbers of Talos worshiping Nords, but forced the Empire to enforce the WGC when they weren't really doing it beforehand, and thus the Thalmor were allowed into Skyrim.

Only a complete, fucking utter moron would follow Ulfric Stormcloak.

Neither, technically, the Imperials are the Thalmor's bitch, but Ulfric was very likely backed by the elves too. They wanted a civil war that would weaken the Imperials further.

Their ultimate short term goal is no Humans, but their long term goal is obviously hinted at in the College storyline in Skyrim. As disappointing as some aspects of the storyline were, the implications are amazing.

Keep dancing around the topic, fag.

Who the fuck cares? That's how it's always been in reality with colonialism. That's just the way the world works.

> inb4 comparing vidya to real lyfe kys fagget
What do you think the games take inspiration from?

redoran > indoril > telvanni > dres > hlaalu

>we both hate thalmor
>hurr lets split up
>im sure after they fuck the empire they'll just leave skyrim alone
stormcuck logic

The Atmorans literally did nothing, the Snow Elves started to fear their numbers because Men reproduce far faster than Mer. The Snow Elves took it upon themselves to do the Night of Tears when the Atmorans were just chilling out and being peaceful. Then Ysgramor came back with numbers and decimated the Snow Elf population, they were forced underground into Dwemer territory and then the Dwemer fucked them over.

Snow Elves did literally everything wrong.

Always been a Telvanni guy when I played Morrowind.

Other way around, user.

The nords own the reach

You'll figure it out one day, champ, don't worry.

>One is cucked into Oblivion, actively unravelling mankind at the hands of elf kikes, and even though right by authority, is pretty much butt-fuck useless, and of course, had you grouped in with rebels and tried to have you executed.

Apart from that last bit, you just perfectly described the Storm Cloaks.

That last bit is just a shit Redguard officer trying to make the number a head bigger to look good in front of the General who is too distracted by the Fucking Elves to notice shit being rotten.

If I was a dude Nord in Skyrim and fucked a High Elf secudtress, would our child be a Breton?

Knowing the typical Nord response to everything, including the traditional attempted conquering and raids against Morrowind and getting the shit kicked out of them by House Redoran (Including the Oblivion crisis, what the fuck Nords?) I can firmly stand on the opinion of
"We wuz Kangs and paceful n sheeit."

>One is cucked into Oblivion
Stormcloaks.
>actively unravelling mankind at the hands of elf kikes
Stormcloaks
>and even though right by authority
Stormcloaks
>is pretty much butt-fuck useless
Stormcloaks
>had you grouped in with rebels and tried to have you executed.
Imperials.

It's quite close.

That's not true. Every time I play an Altmer, he supports Ulfric. I kill the Emperor for the Dark Brotherhood, then have Ulfric win the Civil War.

See, the Thalmor Dossier only says that they'd prefer the conflict to be ongoing because the Emperor is still alive. If Ulfric won the conflict, Emperor Mede II might just say "fuck Skyrim" and invade the Dominion without them, conquering Ulfric's bitchass later.

But without Mede's guiding hand and brilliance in the field as a tactician, the Empire is rudderless. Worse, it's got dozens of nobles all making plays for landgrabs and power. The only thing that could make that wonderful outcome poor for the Thalmor is having a unified Skyrim come riding in under an Imperial banner with the famed General Tullius at the helm.

So no, we side with Ulfric and remove Skyrim altogether. And thus does the age of men in Tamriel end.

Long live Ulfric, the killer of Kings!

No, it would be an abortion.

No. She would be an high elf

Don't Ulfric and Galmar say after they win the Civil War "And now to kill all elv-I mean Thalmor in Alinor!"
That's an empty platitude from Tullius.
And the Empire already fought the Dominion - then when they could have kicked them out of Hammerfell AND kept all their security and gods, they bent over and let a big golden dick slip into their tropical Nibeneyan backsides.
So the Empire promising to fight the Thalmor is likewise a pretty empty statement. They could do the exact same thing or they could "really mean it this time, honest".

No.

The child would be a filthy mudblood on both sides of the equation.

I infiltrated the Dark Brotherhood, and had them wiped out. I murdered Ulfric myself, and sided with the Imperials.

>"had you grouped in with rebels and tried to have you executed.
Imperials."
Well, with a mod you can have a alternative start and i join the glorious Legion to destroy the Stormcucks.

This post-septim empire is incompetence personified. They didn't even know who they were beheading or why. They're just thugs and the emperor can/does die like a bitch.

Unfortunately the storyline was written too simply. No option to have a reformed blades support a bid for being emperor yourself. Nothing of note happens after one side or the other wins. Just different faces in the same seats.

>Not being a loyal Imperial Citizen

Canonically, your Altmer character was born off Summerset and in Non-Thalmor holdings, that makes you just shy of an abomination to Thalmor.

It's why literally EVERY Altmer that was ever born off Summerset sides with the Empire.

Even if you were born in Thalmor territory, it's still not a bright idea to completely unmake reality in a pathetic and retarded attempt to become Immortal Minor-God spirit things before getting ate by a few of the Daedra.

Ulfric is full of shit, he literally has no way to fight the Thalmor. And his rebellion didn't actually win anything. Remember, the Empire only sent a single Legion - albeit with their most competent general to squash the rebellion. At best there are two outcomes for Ulfric. 1- The rest of the Legion reluctantly is recalled from the Dominion border and the Stormcloaks are purged like Skyrim hasn't seen since the Snow Elves, or 2- They sit up there removed from the southern conflicts until one side or another wins and ultimately claims Skyrim as their own. There is no positive endgame for the Stormcloaks.

And the Empire had absolutely no troops left to kick them out of Hammerfell and avoid the treaty. Just because they'd repelled the entire invading force at the Battle of Red Ring doesn't mean that they had reserves. No, the intelligent move was to bide their time and let nature put them ahead, which is precisely what they did.

Nah. Cross species children gain the race of their mother I think, though probably with a lot of traits traits from their fathers side.

Skyrim had so much potential given the province, but sadly Bethesda's writing team are a bunch of retards. It should have been an option to start your own uprising for the Throne of Tamerial since the Medes are literally just normalfag humans with no ties to Akatosh like your player character.

The Blades reforming could have been a requirement for this, but then they give you the most unlikable cunt ever in Delphine as the "leader" of the Blades.

>Canonically, your Altmer character was born off Summerset and in Non-Thalmor holdings
[citation needed]

I can't bring myself to do the stormcloak quest line, though i'd infinitely prefer imperial if we were allowed to worship Talos.

If bethesda were to make another elder scrolls game, what could they do that they haven't done already? What would be the perfect sequel?

>skyrim had so much potential as a province
>here's a bunch of stuff they should've put in that had literally nothing to do with skyrim and takes place in cyrodiil

Unless they revisit Hammerfell, I highly doubt any other province will be as cool as Skyrim. We all know Summerset Isle and Valenwood, and even Elsweyr will not look as incredible as they are described by lore.

I've said repeatedly over the years that going back to Daggerfall and concentrating on a political drama with lots of twists and bends, social climbing, defaming, heated murder and cloaked assassinations and such could make for a good story . . . but not maybe a great open world story.

But I'm the sort of guy that wanted the social stats and skills to matter as much as the combat stats and skills. But then I also want real stats and skills to make a come back.

All that matters is that Hlaalu shitters are on the bottom.
Indoril, Redoran, and Telvanni are all cool.

I fucking love Bethesda.

Still should have been a real option for the player. Since I'm certain if Nords will follow Ulfric's dumbass they will follow the Dragonborn.

No option to create your own faction in the civil war and crush both sides with the reformed Blades

No option to clean up Riften

No option to fuck over the Thieves Guild

No option to finally exterminate the Forsworn

No option to push the Thalmor out of Skyrim / weaken their influence

Can someone explain some of the lore to me about Talos?

Only played Oblivion (too long ago) and Skyrim so far. I hear Daggerfall explains the formation of Talos by three people, who were somehow combined during the warp in the west. These three people are Tiber Septim, The King of Worms and some sorcerer dude. Does this mean technically (although the timeline was rewritten, Talos' actions are a combination of these three people? And how does the Numideum cause the warp in the west? This shit barely makes sense but is interesting as fuck

They were beheading the whole group because the Thalmor were trying to rescue Ulfric and they didn't have time to bring him to Solitude for a proper execution.

The source for this is from an in-game book, right? Like Racial Phylogeny or something like that?

I'm not sure if the devs have ever said anything about how TES genetics work, but in-game books should be taken with a grain of salt. They are written by characters who only have whatever scientific method or closest substitute to work with, which could be not very scientific or rigorous at all. Be wary of unreliable or uninformed narrators.

It's generally assumed, forgive me for stating it as a fact.

But still, it's very difficult to somehow connect "Literally a fucking peasant" Altmer that was born in Summerset or by Thalmor parents stationed elsewhere with "Literally a fucking Peasant" getting ambushed and thrown in with a bunch of Stormcloaks.

I'd just like a lot more roleplaying.

It's never been the series biggest strong point to be fair, but I'd like to be able to make my character feel more unique and nuanced, and where quests are a lot more open to failure and twists and turns.

Oh, and a even bigger focus on mods. Since that's really what gives lives to the series.

The new TES game is so gonna have a copy of the base building aspect of Fallout 4. It's pretty much the only new feature people generally liked. Shitty as it was.

God I hope not.

This. Says so in the Thalmor Dossier. That they were intervening at Helgen to try and stop his execution. It's why Tullius announced right after talking with them that everyone had to be beheaded then and there.

I wasn't grilling you or calling you a liar. I thought maybe it actually made reference to your character's origins at some point in the game (outside Hadvar's opening line).

You have a really strange way of doing things user.

Just play the game, get a few gameplay mods. Having to eat, drink, sleep, wear warm gear to deal with the cold weather and having to actually travel and journey across the land is a great way to play the game. I upgraded the graphics, upgraded some of the gameplay, and enjoyed trying to play the game and survive at once.

Fun stuff, especially with some of the difficulty and combat mods available. I had the magic stripped off my character, and got some magic mods that required you buy really, really expensive tomes, or find them behind some of the upped difficulty dungeons and challenges and mobs. Made becoming a mage way more awesome, they even added in the College requiring you be able to cast a very specific spell, fairly high end, not able to just buy it, gotta go out and find one of the few places they placed it in the world as a static object, off the random loot table.

I really enjoyed my modded play through. Made getting a horse way more important, made getting money way harder, made carrying things even harder because I had to carry things to keep me alive in addition to loot. Thinking about that play through, and what TES could be . . . man, I love that shit. Probably never see it happen though.

>Tiber Septim, The King of Worms and some sorcerer dude

I think it was Tiber Septim + The Underking/Zurin Arctus + Ysmir.

The Underking also used necromantic minions like Mannimarco, but they were opposing factions in Daggerfall.

>allowing dirty elfs roam skyrim freely and harassing the honest northern laborer

Shouldnt you be swallowing your altmer master's cum?

I would actually quite like that, even if it's not very good on release the mods for that alone is my jam.

Then again Real-Time Settlers and their companion / siblings mods pretty much made me double my Fallout 3 / New Vegas lifespan alone. So I may just be a faggot.

Well it IS canon that Altmer that were born outside Dominion territory just barely escape the fate of being killed on sight, it's mentioned a few times but the most obvious is that one Thieves' Guild quest(?) that deals with the Summerset Shadows.

Funnily for me it went the opposite. My brother is like you, the more he plays the more difficult and complex he makes it. But I pretty much get more and more lazy and look for ways to make the game less "tedious".

>richer merchants so I don't have to travel all around skyrim just to sell a few scrolls I've picked up
>instant mining so I don't have to watch that long as fuck animation
>lockpicking cheat since lockpicking is already pointlessly easy and it just wastes time
And so on.
