You know when I got this assignment, I was hoping there'd be more New Vegas Threads

>mfw i never found out about the garand until my 3rd playthrough

I never saw the screens on the securitrons as their "face": the moving camera looks too much like an eye to ignore.

>nv thread glory days are gone

hingle hangle.

Stop it. There's nothing left to discuss about this game.

I tried to make Legion in Champions Online

we can discuss how much better than fallout 4 it is.

>the moving camera
You mean the spinning radio antenna on the top?

why are there securitrons in goodsprings

Guys what kind of fucking character do I make?

"Maybe a scientist!"
>Cant live with the idea of not using guns

"Maybe a cowboy!"
>Cant live with the idea of giving up sweet energy weapons

"Maybe Ill not roleplay and just play my character"
>Feel my run is without direction

FUCK

do what I do, play a sociopath who wants to help people but still puts himself over everything

guns are for plebs, go to black mountain, get annabelle, play an explosives specialist.

>"Maybe a scientist!"
>Cant live with the idea of not using guns
Just use that one plasma pistol you got from your lab's security or whatever, roleplay something up you cunt

Firsts only chem addict. It's hard giving up on weapons at first but beating the shit out people with guns starts feeling extremely rewarding.

Xth for minimally modded playthourghs are the most fun

Plasma cowboy. God made man, but Tesla killed god. You're a scientific wanderer, have brain will travel. Energy, Science and Barter. Dress in a mix of lab stuff and cowboy stuff. Definitely work with the Van Grafs.

>Dress in a mix of lab stuff and cowboy stuff
Fuck that, wear power armor and a cowboy hat and this build is noice

>Barter

but the van graffs want to kill best cowgirl.

>put over 100 hours in 360 version
>finish all dlcs, most quests with House ending
>spend years looking at cut content, reading Sup Forums threads
>finally get a gamin pc
>spend hundreds of hours looking at mods, /nv/gens
>can't make a character or mod list that I put more than five hours into

Don't be like me anons, play the damn game instead of reading about it on tibetian tire rotation collectives for four years

How does one even force themselves to play runs where you plan out everything in advance?
e.g. "I'm gonna help the powder gangers, do this and that questline, and use only x weapons"
Seems like gameplay is a formality when you know the game inside and out.

this dude, but with dynamites grenades and time bombs

Well, I spoiled myself a lot but not every single thing. So I still have fun.

i just decide on what perks i want before i start playing, because my allegiances usually change throughout the playthrough.

>tfw I used to view perk pages on the Fallout wiki on work breaks to spoil all of the perk dialogue options

JUST

Why people dont like Project Nevada?

Roleplay. If you get attached, betray them.

memes

It adds a bunch of "modern" mechanics that Sup Forums calls "cawadoody like". It's fun for a playthrough or two, and the customization is based
you can disable almost every module

Is there a "Stop Wasting My Time" mod for Fallout Shelter?

also if you do use it, treat the playthrough as "s.t.a.l.k.e.r. lite", or use a hardcore survival mod or something

> Not just self inserting

Some of the uncommon quest resolutions are so convoluted that you can only trigger them if you read about them on a wiki.

>or use a hardcore survival mod or something

Any suggestions?

Play with low END and tweak the Project Nevada options to make yourself and the enemies have low HP
