>Deathwing Beta reappeared in my steam library
SOON
Probably tomorrow
I think so too, the way things have been going it's either gonna be a buggy release, or they're gonna pull miracle out of their asses.
I honestly believe it'll be a buggy release but not so buggy it'll be bad
Can confirm: Beta Starting Tomorrow at 17:00pm CET
made me check
You're gonna need a source for that claim.
my uncle works nintendo
He is or Light.
Can I set up auto update on steam so It will download without me? I will be finishing work around 5 oclock.
STOP PRETENDING THIS IS REAL PLEASE
If there's anything this beta is going to be good for, it's refunding.
the reason this guy is saying this is because he was apart of the private beta. its reappeared under "purchase" for me aswell
also i got a question, i was the user who broke NDA on various deathwing threads that ended up me getting my private beta key revoked. surely this wouldnt stop me from playing the open beta?
I bet this is how it must be working on the corrupt computer of Mars in 40k.
How did they find you? did you not cover up your name/information on the screenshots?
It depends on the developers and how the NDA that you "signed" looked.
But you will probably get to play the open beta if you paid for it.
There's really a game called space hulk death wing? I thought those threads were jokes about stupid game names or something what is this some rts set in the Warhammer 40k Universe? Fucking yawn
Nah should be fine, I did see a bunch of fucking shits trying to get someone in the closed beta forums for NDA a while back was it you they got?
They are usually sneaky as fuck and doesn't just need to see the clear watermark with the username. They hide hard to notice watermarks all over the screen which can be enhanced with some simple filter/slider in shit like Photoshop.
Basically you have to blur screenshots and videos significantly to be safe and then it's almost useless.
i must of made some mistake somewhere, but i just answered everyones questions on various threads and got it revoked, i just hope that the game fixed all the problems it had within the private beta which i talked about, im still open to questions too if you want
dunno, dont think it was me because i saw they were talking about some streamer, i just answered questions here
>deathwing
>good
OP this is how it works
They ip gets whored and they make a good game once every 4-5 games. We had space marine and vermintide we are still like 2 more games away from having another good warhammer game. Deathwing is objectively bad and you should make sure to keep and eggtimer with you when you buy it to make sure you don't go past the 2 hour mark so you can get your refund when you see for yourself.
what are your specs, how was the performance.
Why do you think it's a hardfast rule? Why are you so stupid?
I was in the beta too, liked what I saw but I hope they just fix the few bugs, loading times and make a better match making system and it'll be golden.
as said before, these are my specs, i was able to play on high with 60fps, however when things got crazy or when loading into a new area (the map we got to play was fucking huge) kind of dropped to around 40, this and the game crashing were my only gripes about it, that and it seems theres a clean line of balance with the different classes
the melee system alone is enough to buy the game because it puts EC's garbage melee system to shame, not like thats hard however
damn I didn't know devs went to such lengths.
It's not because it's some made up rule. It's because it's true. I'm not assuming deathwing is going to be bad I'm looking at the trailers and gameplay video to check out the features and implementations and they are shitty as fuck.
recommended MSRP: 20 USD brand new day 1 other wise you are getting scammed.
also im not stupid ur stupid
no i
alright cool, those are pretty much my specs as well.
>(the map we got to play was fucking huge)
was it maze-like huge or was it just fuck it let's make every corridor 3x longer huge.
What kind of longevity can one expect from purely gameplay standpoint? I don't mean progression, levels or unlocks.
How differently can you play other than aiming better? Do you just back into the nearest corner ala Vermintide during a wave and blast away as best you can? I really didn't see anything from the 15 gameplay video other than cycling 3-4 abilities, melee, block and shooting. There doesn't seem to be anything that shakes it up like defensive, offensive, backup roles unless you count medic.
:U
It was pretty maze like however it was not easy to get lost due to objective markers, it was a mix of long corridors, a maze of corridors and big arenas where broodlords would show up along with genes
as for the gameplay you cant play it like vermintide and stick to a corner, enemies will overrun you too easily then and swarm you. you have to be constantly moving in order to win from objective to objective and theres little of "SURVIVE HERE FOR 5 MINUTES" from the mission, just objectives + secondary objectives to make your life easier, i feel like the longevity of the game is stunted, as shooting/blasting the genestealers away after playing every mission completed might feel a little boring, however i feel like mod support would fix this if mod support becomes a thing for the game (its EYE devs meaning there is a chance)
>i feel like the longevity of the game is stunted, as shooting/blasting the genestealers away after playing every mission completed might feel a little boring
That's what I'm afraid of. I sure as hell won't place all my hopes on MODS. Fug.
One of the devs about couple months back said that it'll be moddable through ini files (even claiming most of the game can be modified through it), having not played the beta however I can't confirm this and no one seems to be mentioning this when the subject of modding comes up. Granted what we're looking for is full-blown level-building/asset-replacing modding which seems unlikely at this point.
I didn't play EYE for long (about 20 hours before and after major rehaul patch), what kind of mod support does it have?
håhå
Hmm, I think it depends mostly on the amount of people playing. Tried it on solo a few times and got absolutely wrecked in some parts of the level, it feels like it's really geared toward teamplay.
Apart from shooting, positioning and communication I found were the best ways to improve your play. Had a few games were numpties would just run forward and block shots and LOS while no one protected the rear.
>I found new schematics for a new attack helicopter from an ancient backup.
>How do you know it's genuine?
>It has to be, the person who wrote the datalog had an ralative working for a defense contractor.
