Should I?

Should I?

Is this without the add ons? No way

nope

if you liked far cry 3-4 and can stand a terrible story you'll like it

Obviously

Pirate it and all the DLCs

Crack and repack is literally the first result on google

If I played and liked New Vegas, how much will I enjoy 4?

No.

you'll probably hate it since it has none of the qualities that made NV enjoyable

Just throw your money into your fireplace, you'd get more mileage out of the warmth it would give you

Unironically not worth even pirating. It's really bland and not fun at all.

If you put a ton of time into 3 and New Vegas and absolutely want more of the exact same gameplay, then yes. If you are burnt out on those, then no, you'll lose interest fast like I did.

Shinier graphics and marginally better shootan but it's a complete downgrade in every other respect

Just pirate it, dude. Bethesda will be fine.

Are there any artists that are remaking New Vegas in it? Or at least talks about an overhaul mod to make it good?

Whoa, was that doujin colored?

buy it goy you won't regret it

The world map is crammed with content and doesn't reuse the same assets as much as FNV or F3. Easily the best installment for exploring there's even stuff outside of the map. Gunplay is a lot more responsive and customization is fun
However, the games story is generic and you have less freedom to do what you want including killing some npc's and choosing story direction. Building your base is a nice gimmick if you like that sort of stuff. Overall a good game.

Just pirate it, it's a merely ok game. If you find yourself really into it then you still have until Nov 29th to buy the game on sale, or wait until Christmas for the next sale.

Depends on what you enjoyed about New Vegas. It has multiple factions but obviously, the quests aren't a labor of love. It's alright as an action-adventure game. It's a god awful RPG. Gun selection sucks dick as well but I played it and got my money's worth. It isn't a decent fallout though, at least Todd has acknowledged that the voiced protagonist was a bad move.

It is, without exaggeration, the worst game I've ever played.

I pirated it and still wanted a refund.
But the Far Harbor DLC was actually quite good, I think it helped being in a smaller self contained location, there was much more detail than the bland commonwealth.

Dungeons are okayish purely designwise but you'll still see a lot of samey locations and they're filled with either raiders, ghouls or robots. And you don't have any (or extremely little) hand placed unique loot which made exploring in the two other games so satisfying.

I liked how immersive the role playing was in New Vegas.

Like showing favoritism towards various factions and taking on different quests depending on that factor.

I loved Fallout 3 and put hundreds of hours into it. New Vegas was a pile of shit, inferior in every way, and I only played maybe 20 hours of it. Fallout 4 is boring as hell, it's basically 3 copy and pasted into Skyrim so it has a fraction of the depth and variety on top of somehow being more or less the same game. If you've never played 3 or New Vegas, it's probably great, but if you have put time into either or both you may very well find it as stale and tired as I did.

It has its moments. Far Harbor is the only DLC worth playing

Do it for the butts.

Come on faggot, join the waifu army.

Don't read these faggots. Install WotC + SMR + Raider Overhaul and there you go.

the robot dlc was okay just so you could make robot protectors for your settlements, but you should only pirate it and maybe use a cheat/mod to skip the story just to unlock the robot schematics

Really? I thought I was finding unique loot in almost every unique area I visited or at least some loot with a unique mod I hadn't found anywhere else yet.

I don't know what that other guy was thinking starting the sale thread with that image.

I closed the game when I got to the town building part. I haven't opened it since.

That's some strong bait or a shit opinion, I enjoyed 3 myself but no way is it better than NV.

4 is literally unplayable without mods and I say this as a console player who sunk time in Oblivion up to Skyrim on 360.

Did they properly optimize this shit yet? I remember always dropped to 40 fps or so whenever I was in urban areas

This game is like a text book sized coloring book. It will keep you busy for a while if you do all of it, but I'm not sure if it's all that fun.

Get a better rig

>text book sized coloring book
This is an extremely good way to describe most modern open world games

not really, get yourself that mod that dynamically alters shadow to improve framerate. You won't notice it most of the time since it happens in city areas where you can't see far anyway.

Also get those texture optimization mods, they actually do work without looking any worse since Bethesda are complete retards

For 20 bucks it's not bad.
Depends on how much you liked the previous Fallout games. Never a shortage of mods to fix the glaring problems though.

Can I ignore these stupid settlements without penalty if I don't give a fuck about joining the minutemen?

Fucking shitty facebook tower defense game.

>Mostly Positive
That's SteamSpeak for GARBAGE.

>buy a better pc just to run f4 well despite having no issues in other games!
mcfucking kill yourself you stupid faggot

Moderately

i just purchased the game what kinda mods should i look to be running on a 660m? so far from this thread i've found out that theres a shadow mod and a texture mod i need.

>Still no mod to replace the pip-boy
>Still no proper alternate start mod
>Still no mod to fix the combinedobjects bullshit

It's dead in the water

>not septims in the background
one job

Make them yourself then.

The one that makes an actual rpg but that's not happening so go with the dialogue mod so you can see yes, yes, maybe later but yes, and no. The ghoul mod to make the enemies actually look like monsters ia pretty good.

Why do ghouls in 3 and NV look like leprosy victims yet in 4 just uncooked bacon or some shit?

Never even consider it

There is no metric for how much you'll enjoy it because you won't
