What are the chances they'll bring this to the switch and fix the controls

what are the chances they'll bring this to the switch and fix the controls

Highly likely

>b-but the controls were fine

The game looked like shit compared to any other wiiu game, putting it on the switch would just be an embarrassment for nintendo.

They can just call Platinum in to give the graphics some more polish, they are really good developers after all

The same chance that skyward sword will be ported to a different console.

It'd probably be easier though

Not while Miyamoyo has a say in things.

But being ported to the switch with optional controls isn't enough, it needs more content and it needs multiplayer

They won't. The game was designed around the controls. Getting rid of them would mess up the entire thing. They would either have to scrap and redo most of the game or just make a new Star Fox entirely.

I actually really liked the controls too, it's a shame Zero is so short and Nintendo didn't do more with them.

Controls were ok. What the game really needs is more polish graphically, more content, and multiplayer

How would you fix the controls? Add a mouse or something?
I can't imagine it being better

Hopefully they make a sequel with more on-rails level with more focus on movement rather than just shooting

It'll be ported on the 3DS

That would be hilarious

>The graphics are inferior because of the Gamepad
>There's no multiplayer because of the Gamepad
I have a feeling 99% of the development effort was trying to get the Gamepad to work

That'd be a bad idea. Gyro aiming isn't good when the screen is on the gyro-device.

They can't. Too many enemies rely on Gamepad aiming at weak points. You'd run into trouble with the first set of spider bots at the end of Corneria.

Landmaster all range sections would also be impossible to control.

It'd have to be heavily modified to the point it'll feel like a different game
And it'll be worth it

They could do what the other consoles do and add auto-aim

but then the game wouldn't be fun

You haven't played Star Fox 64 3D have you? Because there are motion control options that literally do what you say they can't.

I honestly never played Star Fox 64 3D

Maybe I'm wrong about what I said, but I still feel like at the least, gyro aiming is better when the screen isn't on the device.

I can try playing Zero on the gamepad screen just to give it a chance. I'm sure it's way better than normal dual-sticks, but I like the screen being stationary

Just make a sequel.

Seriously, I hope Nintendo doesn't do many ports.
I don't want "Game for WiiU on Switch", I want "Game for WiiU Sequel"

I really liked this game, despite Sup Forums's constant TORtanic syndrome that causes them to shit on literally everything.

And yeah, controls were fine. Only thing that needs fixed are your skills. I wouldn't mind additional Arwing missions or some on-rails bosses thrown into the game though.
