If there's one thing Genwunner fags don't understand it's that post-Gen II designs are infinitely more inspired than anything from Gen I. We've now got Pokémon based off of the three wise monkeys, yin-yang, the processes of alchemy, etc. etc. The only thing Gen I has which comes close to comparing is Magikarp and how's it's based off of a Chinese myth of a fish becoming a dragon.
