Only nostalgia blind retards think left is better
Pro tip: whichever version you played of a game is the one you like better
All of the All-Stars remakes
None of these are remakes.
No but the actual TMNT:TiT remake does fit in the awful category.
Fountain of Dreams actually looks like the surreal, hauntingly beautiful place it's supposed to be.
retard
>Liking the broken jumping in SMB1 and LL
Despite the screen DX was the best remake
>Saving (Including scores)
>Unlockables
>Challenge mode
>Includes less bullshit Lost Levels
>VS mode that can be done in single player too
>Despite the screen
That is one big despite
Not being able to see the end of the hole in 8-1 makes that level a bigger pain than it already is.
Ratchet and clank.
Looks great and plays well but takes a huge shit on everything else.
>Looks great and plays well
what more do you fucking want?
NIMD is a fine remake
the problem is the original game really pushed the NES to it's limits and the GBA couldn't capture that even if it looked great and played on par to the original
It'd be easier to name a good remake because there is only 1; Tactics Ogre.
Everything else is unnecessary and/or bad.
How about not cutting content, retconning everything to appease the shit movie, enough of the favortism for the future weapons.
You know, a decent remake instead of a marketing tie in.
>Bionic Commando RE:Armed
>Bad
Go fuck yourself
Forgot pic.
Who asked for this shit?
This game and Odin sphere are 10/10 remake
SMB1 physics aside, it was actually pretty nice. The game for the most part looked great, and the soundtrack is just as good if not better sounding on SNES.
I-I did...
>tfw physics fix patch
Nah nightmare on dreamland was solid. Played just as good as the original, and looked good too. Difficulty was also the same. A bad remake would be Super Mario Advance 2. Looked worse, sounded worse, and added extra hits, making it even easier.
There's a physics patch? Shiiiit
>No 3DS remake
>3D visuals with a big enough resolution
>1, 2, and Boo Race
>Red Coins and Yoshi Eggs
>All those little extras like the calender, fortune telling, and exchanging high scores
>Gameboy Printer sheets could become Miiverse stamps
>Instead it gets a VC rerelease with inaccessible multiplayer
>TiT comparison
Yeah. Makes it literally the same as NES. The issue I believe was Nintendo accidentally set the velocity change after hitting a block to negative, causing you to gain velocity when you hit a block.
Pic obviously not related?
which one's which?
Arcade - Original
SNES - Port
Genesis - Mixtape
>Awful Remakes
Pic not related.
>had a nes during the snes days and snes during the n64
>played all 3 Super Mario on the nes
>tried All-Star at a friend house
>Looks good and sounds good
>gameplay suck
>every time I try All-Stars I go back to the original versions instead
>Resident Evil Remake
>Not the finest example of what all video game remakes should aspire to be.
>talking shit about REmake
>talking shit about Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins
>All Capcom games
I'm starting to see a pattern here
This is the only time I got to play the original Marios
How was it bad?
Physics are fucked up in the remakes
>love how Mario 1 looks in All-Stars, it's great
>love how Mario 2 looks in All-Stars, pretty cool
>Mario 3 sprites barely look different at all to me
>Mario doesn't even have eye whites unlike the other two games
>weird tan skin when he's white in the other two games
>all the muted, muffled SNES sound bytes that lack impact
I can't into All-Stars 3.
oh shit jeb surge!
what exactly you didn't like?
he probably wanted a remake of the original. Ratchet and Clank 2016 is a great game but none of the worlds/weapons/plot points/characters are the same.
That's how he looked in SMB3 too.
It's actually the only game where Mario turns red when he gets a Fire Flower
Out of the way you fucking Sup Forumsirgin shits
Best Remake coming through
???
Isn't it about Qwark (?) retelling the first games story and getting it all wrong though?
>all the muted, muffled SNES sound bytes that lack impact
That's just the SNES in general
How does that in any way make up for the mediocrity that is the remake?
How many more times am I going to be forced to use this god awful weapon?
...
Wasn't this just old assets slapped into the Sonic Advance engine?
Yeah, Capcom is god tier when it comes to remaking their games.
No? Sonic Advance doesn't play like ass.
I don't think that would result in the lag you see in the video.
...
I notice they mirrored her body in the console versions to save memory (though the Genesis version added a cityscape regardless)
>GBA
Garbage ports and shovelware: the handheld
I dunno, they did some crazy shit on the GBA
youtube.com
Mario vs Donkey Kong was actually a pretty good original Mario game for GBA. It's just that Minis became the new Minions.
>Let's port all these SNES games
>to a console with a fraction of the power, inferior sound tech, and TWO LESS buttons
>also people complained it was hard to see at launch so turn that brightness WAY THE FUCK UP
Thanks Nintendo. These shitty ports were JUST WHAT I NEEDED.
The GBA was at least graphically more powerful
