The combat required you "aim" your attacks, as oppose the standard "mash a button to do an attack animation which was pretty nice, it was a party based dungeon crawler too. It actually was a tech demo, but feedback from players was so overwhelmingly positive that they took it back and wanted to make a real game out of it and not a F2P title, and then ran out of money and went on hiatus.

This, unless they rehash a ton of Marvel VS Capcom assets I don't see it happening, and I think Marvel owns all those.

DMC5 makes the most sense because there is just soooooo much they could reuse from DMC4SE. I imagine they are going to make Revelations 3 and have it reuse a ton of assets from Resident Evil 6 aswell, which Revelations 2 already did.

Honestly you kind of deserved it if you just went with blind hype with no concrete proof.

There is no proof for it happening at PSX either, but there is some things that points to it happening. Capcom has a 2.5 year dev cycle for their games, and early 2018 would be 2.5 years after DMC4SE. Meaning that a E3 reveal next year is the most likely, going by Dead Rising 4 and Resident Evil 7.

E3 2017 is the biggest chance it has, and even then it coulld not be happening.
