So, what's the veredict?
Mankind Divided
piece a shit bro
Dildo Sex: Asscrack Divided
It's utter shit
I found out theres a glitch called "Subway Station CRASH" in chapter 12
I have to restart the whole fucking thing to continue the camping.
I dont got the strenght to do that.
Damn good. Comparable to HR.
rushed game
worse than disc 2 of xenogears
A good game with fun gameplay and places to explore with a serviceable story that was cut way to short. It's 2/3 of a game thats still good but not as good as HR
haha xD upboted
Decent game, but short. Palisad bank and Utelek complex were the most well designed maps in all of Deus Ex. It's unfortunate because it gets a bad rap due to its abrupt ending and DLC bullshit.
>denuvo game
They're all shit
Needed more globetrotting. Being stuck in the same city for 90% of the game was a drag. Deus Ex is about unravelling a global conspiracy. It was weird because it was like Prague was the center of the world, and everything happened there.
HR blows this shit out the water.
How, except for the story?
Hopefully this wasn't just me, but did anyone else have trouble getting used to the controls after playing Human Revolution and jumping over to this? Took me a good while to get used to it, don't know what it was.
Hr has better story, I liked the gameplay of MD better. Not having a hub in Asia is straight up heresy.
Felt smoother, atmosphere was better, soundtrack was better, as you said the general story was so much better too. The setting as a whole drawn me in too much, whereas Divided seemed like it was missing something, just felt bland.
I liked it. The only problem for me was the content. I thought the game had way more content.
It has nice looking levels and a memorable set of waifus but nothing else to it.
first and only DE game I've ever played and I thought the recap at the start was really cool.
opinion is divided
Plot wise it's a great blue balling but at least we got to see Lucius before they put him in a freezer and Bob starting to get up to hijinks.
Actual game-wise it was better than Human Revolution but the improvements weren't really that significant and it still has the shit elements like button prompt takedowns - basically HR2 rather than feeling like a new Deus Ex itself.
Microtransactions are gay of course.
Fantastic, but far too short and with a disappointing main story.
Crack just came out. Give it a few days for people to play it and make a review.
Disappointed that I killed the one boss the game had with a stun and takedown in 5 seconds
Fun
Competent developers crippled by jew publisher.
Is it worth buying 50% off?
I want to remap the controls so that right click is "use" and middle mouse button is scope/iron sights like every other Looking Glass / Ion Storm game. I did this with Human Revolution, but I can't map this piece of shit because they refuse to add a "toggle aim" option.
Holding down MMB to aim is not feasible. I haven't played the game more than a few hours because of this.
Eidos Montreal is a shitshow. I'm convinced that Human Revolution was just a fluke. They have pumped out nothing but blunder after blunder since that game.
Yes.
should I get this or hitman?
no, wait for the goty edition with all dlcs for 30 or 40 around spring sales.
Do you care more about Deus Ex or Hitman?
>DLC is consumed after one use
who the fuck approved this?
In the official release it was patched?
Squeenix
Is there enough side content? I really don't care about main storylines in games like this and just want to explore the city and do sidequests. Still got 3 hours on the torrent since my internet is shit.
I beat it recently, and enjoyed it but was ultimately disappointed by it. The gameplay is great and improves upon Human Revolution, feeling more streamlined and enjoyable. But the game itself and the story is short as hell. Just as it feels like things are finally kicking off and the story is about to proceed deeper down the rabbit hole, it ends. I was genuinely confused that the first boss I fought was also the last boss, just as it feels like the story was truly starting.
Square Enix is based. They have a great business plan when it comes to DLC. Sorry you can't afford it.
So the season pass gets me two dlcs and a bunch of consumable?
why wouldn't I just buy the two dlcs for 20 bucks and skip the pass that costs $30?
It's okay. Gameplay is better than HR but the story and characters especially are lacking. System Rift was the most fun I've had with it so far. It was nice to work with Pritchard again.
I never asked for shit.
Slightly better than HR
+ better hub
+ better side quests
+ better gameplay
+ better graphics.
- "to be continued" story
- less variety in the environments
- more forgettable characters
- more forgettable soundtrack
+/- The game is more "subtle" with its content, if you don't explore everything and rush through the game you will miss tons of stuff, way more than in HR.
