Dark Souls 2 had so much potential to be a beautiful game.....
The modeling work and textures are just such a disappointment.
Somehow it manages to have some pretty moments despite that.

I know a lot of people rag on it for the final "boss" being a QTE, but it's like they ignore the entire buildup to it.
I see the final "boss" as the route TO him including the fight

Nah, what most people love is the lighting. I think the team was just lazy when putting together the maps and textures.

My only issue with the game is the drama/deaths of Rahim and Jade. Rahim, I could understand. Cocky kid went off to do shit on his own, fucks up and dies. But Jade? Didn't Crane have an extra Antizin dose anyway on him?

And forget to name the game, sorry. It's called Event[0], based off a student project. I 'beat' the 'game' in about 2 hours, currently $15 on steam w/ the sale going on. Dunno if I'd recommend it unless you like neat little games that are pretty.

I was going to upload some stuff I took in the past month. But all of the files are 12-18 megs (probably from 2160p settings). Fuckchan only allows 4megs.

I got it at launch, the game was great fun, right up until you hit max level. Then it became an insurmountable grind where only 2 areas of the city are worth visiting anymore.

Not really. Half of the map is locked in a PVP only area. The rest is somewhat samey.

Why did Crane burn all the antizen? Don't get me wrong, I like the fact he's responsible for all the deaths in the tower, but he could have just not burned the antizen, taken it back, and simply made some slight fucking deviation on his mission.
