Shadow Warrior 2 was an epitome of a game that got better the more you played. Yeah, I'll be the first to admit the first 5 hours were garbage. But thankfully some user posted a webm where later in the game he went about shredding enemies in seconds and I gave it a bit more time.

Sure enough lategame loot didnt even matter and it was practically a first person Raiden simulator.
5/10 beginning
7/10 midgame
10/10 lategame

I respect Thunder Bluff's opinion but deathwing is exactly what I wanted from a real time-fps space hulk game.

Thats pretty much why I said its the epitome of that meme. Dont get me wrong, I'm not defending that aspect. It was a hair away from making me refund the piece of shit. Thankfully some insane voice in my head made me force myself to play it through. Honestly, its a pretty damn good game once you got into it.

Inbetween missions all you have to do is sort by highest level gems and put those in your weapons if you don't want to really deal with that shit. It's not that difficult.

The only problem I have had with it is the buggy netcode that occasionally keeps disconnecting me.

Otherwise it plays just fine, and is in fact, quite fun and challenging.
Smacking xenos with Thunder Hammer is fun as fuck.

The darkness is a huge plus for me. The flashlight does need to be brighter though, but the rest of the ship is great. Seeing glowing eyes in the distance is top tier purge material.

His complaints about the lack of weight behind the weapons he used, when ramming into enemies and when sprinting seemed valid to me though.

I get that Terminators are powerful and surprisingly mobile in the lore but I imagine that the gameplay would feel more tense if they were more limited to being walking tanks.

I watched TB play this and this is how it went
