Except demos rarely give you the full experience (not saying pirated versions do, especially with an online fighting game) but I'm not locked behind a demo wall once I reach a certain point.

The last time I saw a demo for a video game was in the middle of an issue of Game Informer with a copy of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 in fucking 2001.

Nobody does demos anymore cause they need those sick preorder and Day 1 DLC bucks and that's why I pirate before I buy.

Why would I support shitty ports, shitty optimizations and micro transaction infested games.

I haven't in a long time. I only really do if I can't find it to buy anywhere or I bought it before and I don't feel like buying it twice. The only pirated game I still play is SWAT 4 but I am hoping for a GOG port.

Although I accredit this mostly to the fact that I don't really buy games often and not out of some moral reason.
