Vesperia is definitely not a good example here. Duke wasn't a antagonist, didn't necessarily antagonize the party, and actually had a purpose for every time he showed up.

This, he probably has the worst boss fight but I think the shit surrounding it was fine.

I think that more so says that the combat is a bit too slow and doesn't work against fucking human sized enemies for a BOSS. KH and Tales have no problems with boss fights, generally, but this game seems to have really bad ones.

Depends on what his plan is. All of the FF villains typically look rather stupid and silly. Seymour still looks the worst to me.

Why would you use them at the end? That's usually when mobs and bosses are shitfocused on crushing your ass with special moves and you're usually drained of pots. Using armiger weapons at the end is plain retarded. The only safe options is switching between those and a regular weapon to play it safe, but that's really boring for me so I only use the armiger, which makes battles more thrilling.

You can't even enter that dungeon because it's in the new version of the Duscae version. There's no video of it yet, I highly doubt someone with a copy of the game already bothered enough to uncover this dungeon I'm talking about.

It's full of items but even with all of that you will get at most 10 of the rarer and expensive ones only with your first play-through and that is fucking nothing for battles, unless you really wanna go exploring only to save gil which is stupid considering the amount of time that would take.

That's not the fight. That dungeon was only bothersome because you need to trigger 4 generators to open the final door for that serpent-dragon boss. The boss itself was actually really easy as the dungeon is only level 45.

It was because since he was corrupted from absorbing many daemons throughout the years, he became immortal and the only way to purge him for good was when the king of kings (Noctis in this case) could gather all of the king's light and burn his soul for good, which is what happened.

What do you mean with endgame Ardyn's? Also, it could be implied everyone died since you get to see Prompto, Ignis and Gladio all with him in the afterlife dimension, but it's up to interpretation. Noctis did also said to them that he left everything in their hands before heading to begin the kings ritual so it would be kind of wrong to think they died but it's up to everyone.

That dungeon for example only opens at night, and you don't have Gladio in your party when you play it but Aranea joins you instead.

It was many years ago. People thought a king who could use dark powers wasn't befitting I suppose. That led to general rejection, you know, the kind that "weird" people associated with bad things usually get. Considering he has lived all that time, it's enough for him to get sick of everything really.

People always give Nomura shit for wasting money on CG scenes, but Tabata seems to have wasted tons of money on actual assets, CG scenes, cutscenes, dialouges etc that aren't even in the game

Ah, well even then Nomura uses CG created to be in the game for trailers and doesn't just make fancy CG for trailers you'll never seen in the game. Even the recent KH2.8 trailers had all their CG stuff taken straight from the opening of 0.2 and he said in an interview that the CG in the FFVIIR announcement trailer would appear in the game.

Obviously the V13 CG was wasted because the project was scrapped and restarted. Not because they were made to be purely marketing material.

It's the time. Not even the royal blood knew of his story by the time the game takes place in. Considering noctis is told there's 13 kings before him, I suppose they didn't even count Ardyn either because he was the original king, the fallen one.

It's ironic too. Because Ardyn was the chosen one from the legends that first scourged the malice in the world from the myths, and following those myths, the gods also helped him do it, but years later he is bringing that same plague again and is it time for the new king of kings (Noctis) to purge him (the fallen one) which is why in the end fight you get to fight Ardyn also in a super mode with a red armiger too. This would also make sense too when he told Gentiana(who was shiva) how she looked exactly like when she died, assuming she had a human appearance at some point in the past.
