I liked it.
...
Been having fun with Outrun 2006 lately.
Very fun game
I like me sum loli's but Venus got my rod hard, Teliko was a better character though.
Nice tastes. You ever use the ammo and ammo + cards to fire more than six shots from the SSA without reloading?
Neat. I liked that and burnout.
>dj max portable 3 doesn't work on adrenaline
You had ONE fucking job, Flow.
What are even some good homebrews? I don't think I've ever downloaded anything unofficial beyond the CFWs.
There's one that let's you take screenshots anywhere in game, and on the dashboard if you put it in a different folder.
Also the touhou homebrew game was okay.
I can't even remember the last PSP game I played.
It's been my dedicated emulation machine for the past four years
>Mfw no Patapon 4
This is true. I would emulate N64 games on it, but you have to trade between no sound, or sound with lag.
Life is suffering.
Fun game
Haven't seen this one before. What's it about?
Must-play imports?
What do you mean by imports?
Best titles that aren't available in NTSC-U. Preferably something that doesn't require knowledge of Japanese.
yeah interested also
Not to get off subject but how's the 2DS as an emulation machine? Basically it's just the original 3DS from what I've learned.
I did have fun with Brandish: The Dark Revenant and Sega's Puyo Puyo titles. There's also the Final Fantasy Type-0 fan translation if you don't want to buy the HD rerelease.
I don't know any, but this list should help.
en.wikipedia.org
2DS is just a non-clamshell 3DS
GBA is near-perfect on CFW.
SNES is hit-or-miss. Better on N3DS
The usual GB/C, NES and Genesis work as well as you'd assume, but Sega CD emulation wasn't working the last I checked.
...
Explain.
Kinda pointless to have and play now.

Let's be honest. Most of its relevant library are ports and remakes.
What makes you say that, user?
>Ports and remakes don't count as games
Any JRPG recommendations? An user once suggested Growlanser Wayfarer of Time and I'm enjoying it.
youtube.com
You could install xp, or vista on the psp browser.
How much better is the SNES emulation on 3DS? Also can I access the freeshop on 2DS?
Can I install Linux on my psp?
It's a shitty flash knock-off, not a real operating system. Linux however is possible.
>Ports and remakes don't count as games
Well, they're kind of a "been there, done that" affair for most people - barring a few games whose original versions didn't come out in the West.
>How much better is the SNES emulation on 3DS
I haven't had the opportunity to test it extensively. Only game I played was Dragon Quest VI
>Can I access the freshop on 2DS
I don't see why not. Perhaps someone with a 2DS can offer an answer.
Have you guys had success in SD adapters?
I ran Windows 3.1 through the DOSbox PSP port at one point just to see if I could do it. It was really fucking slow though.
Yeah I see your point. But I had a lot of fun with them.
Yeah. I got a 16gig SD card and it works perfectly fine.
Is there a more accurate list of this one ?
I feel like a lot of games are missing.
On the pic red are the ones I ended, green are the ones I'm playing.
I'm having some prolems with THProject 8, the european dump.
It's a bad dump of the umd and the game crashes every time during the school level load.
Can some of you help me ?
ty
Get like ten of the bastards, they're really fragile.
I use one that accepts two mSD cards formatted as one continuous volume.
Build quality is complete shit, but is fine as long as you don't remove it from the system.
Did you forget a picture?
forgot pic
Just googled it and I'm impressed. They say to change the battery and get a new memory stick. Could I just use a regular micro sd card? Do I really need to change the battery? I have a 1000 series.
I swear there was a NetBSD port for the PSP but I can only find references to it not the source or install instructions, the same thing happened for the PS2, there was totally a port but I can't find the source anymore.
...
No that's a pretty accurate list, they even added one of my favorites: Kingdom of paradise. The only thing I would add is Silent hill Origins, Silent hill shattered memories, and the other two dept. heaven games: Gunginir and knights in the nightmare.

Am I the only one that played this?
Finished the patapon and project diva games, what other rhythmn games should I play?
Oh and Warriors orochi one and two
How is Lord of Arcana? I do enjoy me hunting games.
Parappa and Guitaroo Man got decent ports.
Brandish is a great game, but came out after that picture was made.
Nayuta no Kiseki is a bit like Ys: OiF, and has a fan translation.
I feel like Afterburner Black Falcon should get more love.
The only other one is guitarman I think.
It's pretty good but you kinda have to grind a lot. I think all hunder games are like that.
Taiko no Tatsujin, my boy.
>Nayuta no Kiseki
>search on youtube
>prologue chapter is almost 1 hour long
oh god...
I'm not very into "weebshit" but I love the Ys series (thank you PSP).
I'm still waiting for the Yakuza Phanter 1 translation.
Any other gem who recieved a fan translation recently ?
Why the hell was Brave Story so damn good?
I dunno the status, but I think tales of the world: twin brave. Last time I checked it was roughly 40 percent complete
>tales of the world: twin brave
wow
this shit looks nice! ty user
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment was being tranated by iwakura productions, but I think it's in hiatus.
Any recommended distros for psp?
No prob but when I played it about a year or so ago, the translation hadn't gotten to all the menus and it was sort of confusing for me.
The buttons of my PSP are all soft now, I want a new one.
I have an 11 year old PSP lying around here and I've been thinking about turning it into a retro gaming machine for when I'm in bed.
Do phones and tablets run ps1 games as good as the PSP these days? Would it be better to just emulate on those instead?
Honestly I bet it's best to use a custom distribution of the stock firmware and run POSIX utils through it, there were a few projects for getting a Unix-like experience inside the userland as a "game". In case those never got finished that sounds like a fun project to try implementing.
Outside of that, NetBSD or Linux are probably your best bet if you can find a way to install them and get pkg-src to run on it. I'd try my best not to sacrifice the GameOS so you don't lose the ability to play games, I dual boot FreeBSD (via OOS++) & GameOS on my PS3 for that reason.
>Do phones and tablets run ps1 games as good as the PSP these days? Would it be better to just emulate on those instead?
They can emulate PS1 games perfectly. However, playing them is insuferable (at least for me) I rather have a PSP because it has buttons, the fact that all the buttons are displayed on the screen also makes games like the first Resident Evil unplayable, since it's impossble to press two buttons at the same time, specially when you have to play the triggers to aim and other button to shoot.
Forgot pic.
Bump.
Post themes.
I'm using this one, best looking one I could find with a quick search.
Buttblasted nintendrone immediately jumps in to ruin the thread. Mods, of course, don't give a fuck. Welcome to Sup Forums - Nintendo.
Has anyone played Conception?
They do make tablets with built-in controls such as the GPD XD (which I own and enjoy) or the flimsier JXD S7800B (which I used to own; severely underpowered compared to the GPD XD though), and some phones and tablets support Bluetooth or wired controllers -- either Xbox/PS4 or clip-on wireless/Bluetooth controllers like the Ipega line.
Top Three
1. Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
2. Dissidia
3. Crisis Core
PSP was fantastic for FF games.
is there a good solution for pirating two umd disk games? I remember before they were a huge issue and could corrupt your memory card because of the way they installed data on your memory card, games like key's Rewrite.
I've got the knights in the nightmare theme but I'm too arsed to get a screenshot.
The fuck do you mean? You can pirate literally every PSP game made without problems.
Have you ever pirated a two disk psp game? The problem is that they install data on your psp as if it were dlc this causes corruption of the memory cards if you don't have legit keys. You need to jump through a lot of hoops.
read the comments.
I never even knew there was such a thing as a two disk psp game. Never heard of it until now.
I'm getting a really weird problem with my PSP3000. I can set the clock speed for games to 333/166 in the recovery menu of my CFW, but when I load the game it resets to 222/111 or whatever the default for the game is.
It works when I use Vita Adrenaline CFW though.
Anyone know what's up?
That is because you are a pleb.
What happens when you hit SELECT in the XMB? I remember having a plugin that brought up an overlay and let you set the clock speed for the XMB and in game independently, you may be setting the XMB only to 333, I forget how that works.
Or maybe it's because there are several really great games that are only one disk?
I set both to 333/166.
They're just teasing you, user. Relax.
A hacked PSP is better than a hacked 3DS. I have both and I'm pretty disappointed with the latter. That PS1 emulator on the PSP just can't be beat
I don't know how well Vitas fare.
This. I have some trouble with some PS1's converted to PSP ISOs though. Example is Vigilante 8 second offense where sometimes the round never ends after you destroy all the enemies.
Download straight from PSN then. They have better compatibility and smaller filesize.
They didn't have it on PSN. Plus the PSN is gone forever from the PSP.
Zeus links are still around senpai.
What?
Organ is nice
You can download files from Sony directly, most people post links to them and some people index them. Like this one
psndl.net
Memorypsp is kill, when the fuck did that happen
Forgot pic. Running on Vita via Adrenaline.
Only problem is it lacks verticality so unless you know what's in a category like the back of your hand you have split seconds of guessing.
Here's a bunch of them.

You can also download .pkg files with PSNDL or PSNStuff.
Once you have your .pkg, you can convert it to an EBOOT.PBP using PSNPKGdecryptor.
You can do this for PSP or PS1 games.
Uh
>PSNDLv3 will shutdown on the 30/11/2016 as I cannot afford the monthly cost anymore.
What's the point of archiving these except for e-peen?
It's not hard to get the links.
Uh...That just takes me to a page that says it will be shutting down on the 30th but he's asking for donations to keep it up for another year. Got a different site?
Or this.
