Currently downloading it. Ever since I dropped TF2 I've been looking for a fun shooter. Not a call of duty guy and don't want to upgrade to Win10 for Halo. I didn't hear about this game until a few days ago.

Even though it might make me a dick, I love the G2. I don't just sit and camp with it though, I still like to go fast, more for repositioning to flank enemies than for shooting while going fast though

I mained the Volt for the longest time

It's precise, good rate of fire, cool looking blue laser bullet things, and good magazine

They're very balanced overall. The Devotion is really really good too.

Pilots are another story. Holopilot is a cool idea but can't make it work like Cloak or Phase, simply because dissapearing is just a better clutch in this frantic game. Dunno, maybe it's a git gud thing.

It's not as damaging as a sniper, it doesn't recoil much, and it shoots very fast.
It's just a semi-auto rifle. You still have to hit someone like 3-4 times with it

I like the volt, but I honestly can't tell if it fires very fast projectiles or if it's hitscan. The way the laser bullet things move makes them LOOK like projectiles, but we already know that that doesn't mean shit in the source engine.

i'd say just make his reload a bit quicker, hell, just anything to buff scorch would make him better like more health or a bigger radius on his thermite launcher

The only proper way to buff Scorch would be to add an armor reduction effect on direct hit with the launcher. They'll never actually make him useful though.

Looks like I'm buying this after I reinstall my OS on the morrow. I've been waiting to play a fun FPS for a long time and DOOM was pretty short with a DOA botched semblance of a multi.

Anyone have/had an crashing issues?

Intermittently, while playing TF2 (and only when playing TF2), it seems my video card will crash. Sometimes it will recover, sometimes I have to hard reset my PC. When it does recover, it seems TF2 is unplayable (like, the window is just white and 'Not Responding'). Different window effects are off (like the tabs in firefox are oddly rendered).

Most of my 'crash' googling turns up "turn the video settings down to High". I have set them down to medium. Fairly positive my PC is more than enough to run this game. Thinking it's something else, specifically TF2-related.

Anyone ever have this issue, or can offer some advice, any/all help is greatly appreciated.
