I'd love to see a first-person, possibly VR super robot title that gradually builds in scale. It'd need a capsule-like rig though, so arcade-only.
Realistically though the real robot genre is the place to go since that'd sell way more to people in the west. Maybe we need another giant-controller Steel Battallion ripoff.

MBON is not getting ported.
In a live stream after the reveal of the new ps4 game they clearly stated it's not a port of the existing arcade and instead is an entirely new game.
Hence why it a just Gundam Versus, with no extreme in the title.

Every single GVS game dating from the PS2 era was using assets from their arcade counterparts. Good thing too. Why would they waste money and effort to build it again from the scratch when they've finally amassed such a huge roster.
