I'm on the fence with RE7, I was going to pre-order but I want to see how it pans out first. I'm usually a huge RE fan, but I don't know if they're just trying to catch the P.T. crowd with it. We'll see, but if it works like the originals but just in first person and more horror then yeah sign me up. I can see it being more avoiding enemies over killing them though.

Somewhat. You need to stop filling your inventory with shit. Never pick up herbs unless you need to heal, only carry one weapon and ammo at any given time, and only save in safe rooms because you can deposit your inks straight away.

Yeah, truly was a special feeling playing it back in the day. More so now because I never really gave it a second thought when I was younger, not many people had the network adapter I guess, but I loved playing games like Outbreak, Socom and Champs of Norrath online.

With the success of the REmake HD, I don't see why they don't approach it now, it would sell easy.

Oh so you were one of those Mark or Kevin's that just started with the gun and then after wasting the ammo kept hounding people for weapons, or stealing all the weapons whenever you could to once again waste the ammo.

It only gets dumber as you go on. Eleminators are not fun, most if not all boses are giant animals/insects and the only good setting is the first one. The train is great, too bad the game shits the bed as soon as that ends.

Any platform is fine, but you want to include REmake in there, and then try emulating the original 1-3 or if you have PS3 buy them on PS store. They'll feel different but you really need to still experience them.

Jim is the best Outbreak character. Three heads on his coin flip and he becomes an unstoppable critical hit machine. His play dead ability also allows you to easily avoid hits if you time it correctly.

Not him, and don't know about you but when I played the original I was only about 11 year old when I first played it, and put the shits up me. Took me what felt like weeks to complete purely because of that.

Is that a real VHS tape? Like, is there shit on it? If I put it in my VHS player, will it play something? That's a really cool bonus to include if that's the case. When are they going to make a collector's edition of a game include a LaserDisc?

RE0 isn't all that bad but it's definitely the weakest of the classic RE games. I recommend finishing it (the final boss is fun) but that's it really.

Don't worry about limited saves. Every typewriter has three ribbons so you'd have to purposely abuse the save system to actually run out. Don't feel bad if you have to backtrack to storage boxes if you run out of space, which will happen often. The first time playing, you don't know what to do or where to go so it's ok to fumble a little. If you try playing a second or even third time then you'll begin to figure out how to work the game because you'll know what you'll need and when you'll need it.

For example, I can get through RE2 in no time without ever saving because I've played through the game so many times.

In that case, your next best bet is to pause the game, put it in suspend mode, and then put the console in sleep mode. This is run at minimal power and you can pick up right where you left off. Keep in mind, though, that if you die then you might not remember how far back you went or what you're supposed to do next.

Also, don't worry about having ink. As long as you pick up ink in every save room you visit and put it in the box then you'll have plenty for the whole game. By the end of the game, you'll probably have saved up around 30 ink ribbons, and that is beyond plenty.

RE3 is one of the worst RE games overall, it's even worse than RE5 or Revelations 2 if you ask me, people will defend it because muh nostalgia.
