Here Kaz sees Big Boss enter his coma without the horn, and he sees VenoMedic over on the table just past BB, who has the shrapnel horn in his head. They should've had more interior areas in TPP. Supposedly the Fox Engine is the best engine in the business for rendering interior areas and yet 98% of the game takes place outdoors.

The airport is just one building surrounded by nothing. Oil field was good, Soviet base was really a big nothing with bunkers you couldn't go into. OKB0 was great.

That's only 2 good bases in a game filled with huts and wooden towers you can drive around. If they went the self contained GZ route, there could have been that Russian snow level that was said to have been a thing.

If you had any understanding of underlying narrative, you would notice that Quiet has nothing but love for Venom Snake, but Venom doesn't feel the same way about Quiet, he only has disdain and hatred for her. Quiet was an easy target for Venom and he made Quiet fall in love with him over time, slowly but surely so that he could break her heart in the end, his entire plan of revenge came to a conclusion when Snake deserted Quiet, just as Quiet thought that he started to care about her.


Venom wanted Quiet to think he felt something for her, and he actually did feel something but it was only hate and disdain, but having her fall in love was always part of the plan, just like seeing her fall into despair while he refused to save her from torture (right after the poison gas scene) was.

A terrible game that ends a terrible series.
MGS died as it lived: being a big joke and the proof that videogames can't have good stories.
