Yeah that too but honestly infinite world was better than budokai 3, so I figured there'd be no need to mention it. Budokai 3 was a completionist's nightmare, scanning the map after every fight, that shit took forever

Raging blast 2 was pretty fun tbqh, I put shit loads of hours on it. Though there was some bullshit you could abuse. If you found another player of equal skill and knew the ins and outs you could have some pretty fun fights.

And hey, at least Zarbon and most major villains could fucking TRANSFORM in that game and not just Saiyans

One thing the series has been sorely missing were fighters from Goku's childhood. Just add characters from Super and recovery / defesive options and Raging Blast 3 could have surpassed Tenkaichi 3. Never gonna happen, though.

It's fine as is. The game is about stamina management. Unless lag is fucking you, you shouldn't be getting stamina broken by playing properly.

Budokai 3 is easily the best really. It was the last time they bothered with any kind of responsive and enjoyable gameplay. After that people just kept buying the Tenkaichi clones because they had Dragon Ball Z on the title and so there was no incentive to put in effort ever again. Good job retarded DBZ autists, you ruined DBZ games for DBZ fans.

This. Most of them were garbage and activated all the time just from getting hit etc.

Only some of them were cool and had reasonable activation conditions like Frieza doing 3 chase attacks during 3rd form to trigger the crazy finger beam animation once per fight.

They literally just need to make:

Xenoverse/XV2 kinda piss me off because while making your donut steel and dressing them up and giving them your favorite skills is really fun and the multiplayer lobby aspects are fun too the core gameplay just is not that interesting for more than a short while. It's basically just spamming back attack while the enemy teleports out of your shit nonstop. Feels like it takes no time at all for them to recover to at least 2 bars. Even with stamina break you barely have time to do a nice combo and throwing out an ultimate is a better idea generally.

I wish I could have Raging Blast 2 with character creation.

Oh yeah that super interesting arc about the battle to save future Trunks world, the one that's destroyed and we didn't see in the Cell Saga because it's boring and nobody cares about that world, we care about the world we know.

Ginyu (Tagoma as alt), Freeza (final form and golden only), Perfect Cell, Buu, Kid Buu, Beerus, Hit, Zamasu and Goku Black.

That game was really cool but it suffered from lack of characters. Making a traditional fighter means you can't put in as many characters since it takes time to design each character and there has to be a balance. Many people cry even with a game of 100+ characters about missing characters so I feel like "shallow gameplay but pretty much everyone is in" will always sell better than "good gameplay but only with a select few characters" when it comes to anime games.

I'm pretty sure the first official theory was stated by Whis. I think he said something along the lines of Zamasu having stolen Goku's body. It wasn't until like 4 episodes later that is was confirmed by Zamasu and then Zamasu explained it all.

Because most the saiyans work that way already. It shouldn't be a simulator like other Dragon Ball games, it should be a competent fighter like Super Dragon Ball. (Albeit balaced)
Let's look at it this way, Goku will already have 4 forms, Vegeta will have 3, Future Trunks doesn't really need to have SS1 or non-god SS2 so he can just get godly SS2. Gotenks has 2. Teen Gohan would be best staying at SS2.
If you make every character balanced around having to work up to a transformation their base would be weak comparatively and with so many forms, they would progressively get more broken, unless you replace moves completely.
