It's funny because the hardcore gays are actually in all the harem anime and JRPGs with male main characters and a huge female party. All the females want the cock of the protagonist but that faggot can't admit to being full on homo and needs to avoid the affection of the girls in a comedic slapstic manner.

I've been enjoying it pretty thoroughly so far. The combat is really fun and just fast paced enough to trick me into thinking I'm probably better than I am, what with weapons switching and teleporting around on the fly. And I'm absolutely loving that the game let all the previous Final Fantasy soundtracks be on the radio of your car while you go driving.

I've only had a couple of minor gripes so far. I'm not really wild about any of Noctis's costumes so far. Dino's whole goomba voice and aesthetic seem really off and wrong from the skinny spiky blonde hair anime guy it's coming out of. And lastly... I don't really get the magic system so I just haven't been using it.

You can always go back to the open world and refresh yourself with side quests and the like and then go back to the railroads so it's just like a main quest where you can pause the main quest and switch back to the open world.

I'm still on the fence for buying this game. The Kingdom Hearts style of gameplay does intrigue me but not if the rest is trash.

While the whole backtracking fetch stuff is extremely heavy on my stomach, I had a blast just driving though the areas, riding my chocobo and killing patrols.
Hell, I even ran into motherfucking midgardsorm and got oneshot
Because of all this wasting of time I haven't progressed a lot in the story yet though, so I haven't reached the part where everything is supposed to go downhill- and I am not even close to it.

I wonder if spending some AP on perks would allow me greater spells. I'm planning to play around with it soon, but right now I'm having more fun putting perks into combat and teamwork.

Have you downloaded the crown update, at least? You can combo magic into your moves now, and seeing Noct do a little dainty backflip with an explosion trailing in his wake is pretty satisfying.

honestly, I thought the game would be shit from day one, but I'm having a lot of fun. I played the game for seven hours straight after work and had a hard time putting it down. the combat, exploration, and quests are just really well done. Haven't progressed much in the story, so can't really speak for that. I think this has the chance to be GOTY contender.
